(Juliet’s POV)

My head aches lightly, yet I still couldn’t help but feel how heavy it is right now. I gently opened my eyes to see where I was. I don’t remember anything that happened. I don’t even know where I was right now. My sight was first blurry at first before it started to become as clear as day. I tilted my head to my right side and found Alice sitting beside me on a plastic chair. Both of my parents were sitting at the left side, while Simone was standing by the foot of the bed, his head was buried into his palms.

“What happened? Where am I?” I asked, and everyone’s attention went right back to me. It was as if they had heard something sinister because they all sprung up immediately, checking me out to see if I had really just talked.
