I wanted to let out my emotions and cry to Rose, but we were in the public and I tried not to allow tears to fall down my face easily.

"I'm sorry, Rose." I whispered in her eyes as we hugged.

"It's alright, Maddy. I forgive you. I am no longer angry; I was just upset that you’ve drifted away.”
