Madison’s POV.

We all rushed towards Gem; she wasn't fully awake but her eyes were open and she could recognize her environment. Andy, who was having an emotional breakdown, cleaned his eyes and put up a fake smile.

At that moment, all the anger I was feeling for Gem went away; it faded away and all I wanted at that point was for her to be okay.

“Hey Gem!! How are you? We were worried and scared; we were all on our toes when they brought you in.”

“I’m fine, mom. Where am i? Where are Ben and Kelly?”

We all looked at ourselves; we didn't know who she was referring to. I had no idea who Ben or Kelly were, but I guess they were friends.

“Sweeti, we do not know where Ben and Kelly are at this moment but I believe they are fine.”

“ What happened, mummy? Why am I here, Why are you all looking at me like I am invalid?”

“Quit saying nonsense, Gem; you were brought here as a result of the bad decision you took; you are lucky to be alive; you would have been far gone in the land of the dead.”
