TERESA

The dinner was wonderful, and I prayed deeply that it would turn out to be something that happened frequently.

We were back home in no time yet I was still smiling sheepishly when I remembered how Bennett treated me like a queen.

The night still clung to my skin and I still could not shake it off.

The glow of candles, Bennett’s laughter and the taste of rich food I was not used to were still stuck in my memory.

I was still holding on to that fragile warmth when reality slammed back into me with Keller’s restless steps across the foyer.

"Why is Keller pacing like that?" I asked the moment we walked through the front doors.

He looked up sharply the second he heard my voice and his eyes flashed across us.

"Finally! You two are back! Do you two even know what time it is?" He asked and Bennett frowned.

None of us were in the mood for whatever stunt he was trying to pull off.

"What is going on?" Bennett asked and Keller stopped pacing but didn’t sit. His fists curled

TERESA I hated to see the light of another day and it was not because I was tired of living. Things were already getting out of control and I was involved in it. I already prepared with the brothers, and we planned to go on another journey to find the one Getta spoke about. But when we got out, we were stopped by guards requesting our presence in old Brock's study. "You are not serious. You can't be serious!” The words spilled from Keller’s mouth before I could even blink. His voice thundered against the walls of the study like a storm breaking through the atmosphere. Bennett was beside him, his arms folded tight across his chest and his eyes locked on Brock. The two of them stood like tall walls with their shields ready before the blow even came. I stayed frozen near the door, my stomach tightening as the meaning of Brock’s words dug deeper. He was too calm and he sat in his chair with his fingers steepled, like this was nothing more than business. Milinda stood bes

  • Three Alpha brothers and their virgin pet    Chapter 36

TERESA A month passed by quietly and the tension of the incoming attack increased, and we could no longer sleep with our two eyes closed. "Where is he?" A random voice cut through the silence of the training ground. I wiped the sweat from my forehead and dropped the wooden staff I was holding. My arms were sore from sparring with them all evening, but his tone made me pause. Who the hell was this stranger that he could stand there and demand answers from Keller and Bennett? I had been hearing the rumours and the questions but the last thing we were going to do was to answer questions about Lynch. They were not asking questions casually. They were simply demanding and Keller and Bennett were the ones who always received the heat most of the time. I met their eyes, and for a second I took in a deep breath. Keller was worried and Bennett was leaning against the rail, his chest still rising and falling fast from drills, but even his sharp eyes were fixed on me. "Tell us whe

MILINDA I was supposed to be happy and having a good time because of the special treatment that Alpha Brock was showering me with. But…the reverse was the case. "Why does she still breathe the same air as me?" I muttered under my breath as I sat before the mirror. The reflection staring back at me was painted in perfection. My hair was brushed smooth, my skin glowed from the expensive oils Brock provided, and the soft gown draped over me was finer than anything I used to own. Everything around me screamed luxury. Was it the silk sheets, the jeweled hairpins or the gold trinkets that Brock placed in my hand without hesitation? It was everything I once dreamed of and I loved it. I admired it even. So why was I not happy? I knew the answer before anything could leave my mouth. It was because of Teresa. Everything happening to me was because of her! Even when I sat wrapped in comfort, she was the thorn scratching at my peace. She lurked around this house, closer to my sons

TERESA "Do you even hear yourself?" I hissed under my breath as I slammed the study door shut behind me. The echo of the wood smacking against the frame echoed down the corridor, but I didn’t care. All of them could go to hell for all I care. I was not going to sit there and push down the nonsense I kept hearing. Alpha Brock was a man I hated standing in front of no matter the situation. He was so cruel that even the ants that crawled on the ground trembled at the sound of his voice. My chest tightened and my head kept buzzing in anger. I was angry and hurt like never before. The anger I felt kept boiling inside and I doubt if it was going to stop anytime soon. I walked fast at first as each step I took became much heavier than the last but halfway down the hall I stopped. A lot of thoughts kept running through my mind and I decided to have a change of mind. My breath caught in my throat, making me clench my fists by my sides. No, running was not going to give me peac

  • Three Alpha brothers and their virgin pet    Chapter 32

TERESA They were tough, I had to admit. Worse still, they weren't moved by my constant questions. "Can you at least have pity on me and tell me where you are taking me? I'm about to have a heart attack," I asked again and my eyes moved to the guard who walked up to us. I wish one of them could open their mouth and speak. Keller didn’t say much, only gave me that stiff soldier look and pointed ahead. I glanced down at the dress they gave me once again. It was soft against my skin, fancier than anything I wore in a long time. I almost didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror earlier. It made me nervous. I was not used to looking… polished. "This better not be some trick," I muttered under my breath and my stomach twisted as I followed them down the long corridor. When we stepped outside, one of the vehicles was waiting. My chest became tighter. A part of me wanted to turn back, but the guard opened the door and stood there, waiting. "Fine," I sighed, cli
