Enrick's POV

Noella looked confused by my actions. She tried to avert her eyes several times. My mind, filled with many questions and suspicions, could no longer hold back for answers. I pressed Noella a little so that she could tell me what had been going on with her and Darren.

"Tell me the truth, Noella." I forced her to speak again, but she was reluctant to look at me, who already felt impatient for an explanation.

It's so unsettling when the questions in my head haven't been answered. My head throbbed, and this sense of unease made my skin itch like crazy. "I'll tell you, but... can we move to the living room? Not in this position." Realizing what Noella had said, I noticed that her face was turning red.
