Jelousy

The next day too Chloe didn't see Nero. Even though she is not willing to admit it out loud, she is kind of missing him. That day, after her shift in the Liquid tonic, she heard some of the other waitresses talking among themselves in the changing room.

"I heard that our boss went abroad" one of her colleagues whispered to the girl beside her.

"How do you know that?" the girl asked.

"You know my boyfriend is a bouncer here right? He told me. No one knows when he would return back" the first girl answered.

"Oh? Too bad. I miss him. Even though he wouldn't let us to touch him, I could simply live by looking at that handsome face of his" the other girl replied.

Both the girls giggled at that comment.

Chloe frowned at their comment. She is not exactly eavesdropping, but their voices are reaching her ears.
