'Nero' he heard her voice calling him, and he woke up the next morning with a start. The dream was so real, he felt that she might be calling for him.

'What the hell is this?' Nero thought with a frown.

He shook her thoughts off and changed his clothes after washing up a little, for his taekwondo session.

After he is done, he bathed and cooked some breakfast for himself, before eating and getting ready for the day.

Unlike his father, he prefers to stay in his penthouse. This whole building belongs to Nero, and he stays in the penthouse apartment.

As usual, Matteo is waiting for him downstairs in the lobby.

He stood up and began to walk Behind Nero, without a word. That's how he likes it. No unnecessary small talks.

"What happened to those two? Did they reveal anything useful?" Nero asked after sitting in the car.

Matteo is driving his limited edition Bentley. It's custom-made and is a bulletproof edition, designed especially for him.

"Yes, they accepted that they were indeed into human trafficking and were intending to kidnap Chloe. That homeless guy is their eyes. He will find beautiful girls and inform them which train they boarded. These two along with 8 others take turns stalking and kidnapping women. We tracked them all. They are held in one of our warehouses" Matteo revealed.

Nero is burning with cold fury.

"Take me there" he ordered Matteo.

"Ok boss" Matteo agreed and turned the car towards the warehouse.

He knows his boss very well. They know each other since they were children. Nero hates human trafficking. He specifically ordered them not to do that in his region. But these people dared to do that under their noses. He knows what kind of punishment they are going to receive.

But the thing that Matteo is not understanding is his Boss's relationship with Chloe.

'What is happening between these two? What was Boss doing in the subway train in which Chloe boarded? Not that he is not happy that Chloe is saved. But why was his Boss so invested in that girl?' Matteo thought.

They reached the warehouse.

Nero got down the car buttoning his suit jacket. Matteo came and stood behind him.

They walked inside the warehouse and Nero's men, who were guarding those culprits began to walk behind him in a semi circle.

When Nero stepped inside the warehouse, he could smell the bad odour of piss and shit in the air.

'Seems like they cracked too soon' he thought.

'Men who dosen't have courage and will power have no place in this world' he thought.

He approached the area, where these 11 people were tied and left on the ground beaten and bruised. When the two people who saw him last night recognised who Nero is, they began to beg for their lives.

"Please boss, please don't kill us. Please let us go. Please leave us. Please boss. We won't repeat this again. Please boss, we will leave this city and never appear in front of you again. Please don't kill us" they began to beg all at once.

Lying there in their own shit and piss, begging for their life's. It would make anyone feel pity for them. But not Nero. 

Instead of feeling pity, he became extremely angry. The unwanted picture of 18 old Chloe being slapped by Daniel came into his mind.

He closed his eyes tightly and opens them again, and fired bullet after bullet in to the bodies of the people lying near his feet.

No one should be restrained against their wish. Kidnapping and selling anyone is snatching their freedom and clipping their wings. That should not happen under his nose. It's his outfit and he makes the rules here.

"Try to locate everyone whom these people sold and see if they could be retrieved" Nero instructed his men and left the warehouse and bodies which will be cleaned by his cleaning crew.

He then attended a meeting with his shareholders. Apart from being the Mafia boss, Nero has a few legitimate businesses, like oil exports and construction company. He covers his illegal works with his legal works.

He attended the shareholders meeting with the shareholders of his construction company.

He just appears to these meetings for name sake. There is a CEO who works full time and reports back to him. It works well for Nero. He is busy with other things to take care of these companies by himself.

"Sir, we have 12% profits raise in this quarter when compared to the last quarter. We secured a very big contract that became a huge success...".

The meeting was going on in this way, making Nero bored.

The only reason he appears to these meetings every three months is to make sure that his shareholders remember who their boss is. It would be useful for him when he needed it.

He is not intrested in these profit ratios they are telling him. It's chump change to him when compared to his other income. Most of these people are unaware of who he is. 

But his CEO knows about him. He was a made man once, who used to work for his father.

"Okay gentleman, let's take a break" Smithy, Nero's CEO announced, noticing that Nero is bored.

They all piled out of the meeting hall, leaving just Nero and Smithy behind.

"You can go if you are bored. I can manage the rest" Smithy offered.

Nero looked at Smithy, who was once her mother's body guard. He was diagnosed with heart disease. So his father suggested him to change his profession. 

It's not safe for Smithy to work In high tense environment. So he retired as a made man and is working as his alibi and his CEO.

"No, these people should remember me. Tell someone to bring me some coffee. I will be fine" Nero refused.

Smithy nodded his head.
