Matteo is coldly looking at the dead man lying in his own blood and feces. He did not regret killing Cerdric and now he is not regretting this either. He tortured this man for hours before he lost his life. Anyone who threatens Hera is going to pay with their lives. No matter who he is. He never thought he can be this possessive over someone else. But Hera came and introduced him to all the complicated emotions which look and feel normal. His obsession with her doesn't have any bounds. She woke up a monster inside him who is ready to tear anyone into pieces if they threaten her. The thought of something happening to her is like a blow to his heart, which is so intense that it is threatening to kill him along with her. He would happily lay down his life for her, if that is what she wants.
