31. Shopping

“Welcome back, Edward!” said Airol Baldwin as soon as Edward entered the teacher’s lounge.

“Thank you, Mr. Baldwin,” he responded.

“It’s been three weeks, huh?” said Airol, then he studied his body. “Wow, you look good as new.”

Indeed, he appeared to be doing great now that he was able to get rid of the crutches after another week of homestay and visitation at the hospital.

A little later, a few more teachers arrived with Belinda Cogzell among them.

“Edward!” she said as she almost jumped on him and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. “Are you okay now?”

Edward gently removed her arms. “Yes, Ms. Cogzell. Thank you for your sentiment.”
