Chapter-2

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I took in the surroundings and saw I was in a dense woods with tall dark trees around me.  

My head started pounding as I tried to get off the ground. I felt like I was hit by a bus. I tried to remember what happened. It took a few moments then slowly it started coming back.

Fucking hell! I was really sucked in a wormhole.

Maybe, I just got teleported in a different place right? I need to get out of here to the nearest town and make a call. Luke must be worried sick. I braced myself together and got up. I started walking through the woods having no clue where I was going. I was exhausted, hungry, and my head was pounding hard.

I kept going for 3 hours until I saw a clearing. I ran towards it in relief. I came across a man who was dressed in funny clothes. 

“Excuse me sir, can you tell me which place is this?”

He looked up and scrutinized me and I didn’t miss the shocked expression on his face. He bowed and spoke in a polite tone,

“You are at the outskirts of Olympus, your Highness, near Kalmon woods”

I was beyond relieved and I could reach the city by walk in no time. But this dude was weird. He was gaping at me like he’d never seen a human other than himself.  

“Why are you calling me your Highness? Are you drunk or something. Oh god! I never understood human behaviour when they get drunk” I chuckled, but the shocked expression on his face didn’t seem to budge.

“Ah well, thank you for your help but, I must get going” I quickly said and started walking along the path.

That was so awkward. I looked up at the sky and saw that the stars. They shined more beautifully than ever. I reached the city, but what I saw was not a city.

There were houses made of wood and street lights, they were just well lit lamps. This isn’t Olympus. Wait a second, there were no cars or shops. There were no tall buildings. I wandered around the place which strangely seemed like Olympus, but it wasn't Olympus.

Have I travelled backwards in time? Shut up mind! You always say the worst possible things. The people around me looked at me weirdly. I said that out loud didn’t I? Stupid, stupid me.

These people were still staring. It was creepy and they were all wearing clothes which was outdated in fashion world. That’s exactly how Luke says it. I bothered to cross check the quantity of Novanium. How could I be so stupid and impulsive? I rushed
