Chapter 2

Aвтор: Ori
The mysterious stranger led me out of the club and into a private room in the establishment next door.

The booming bass of the music was instantly severed the moment he shut the door. It was darker inside, bathed in the glow of a single deep-red lamp in the corner. A bed sat in the middle of the room, and a white towel had been spread across it.

The man took off his shirt, revealing tanned skin and bulging pectorals. The air conditioning was low, making the room feel heavy and warm. The thin layer of sweat covering his muscles sparkled tantalizingly under the dim light, making my throat go dry.

He stalked toward me, pinning me against the wall and leaning down to breathe gently against my ear. "Do you like what you see, miss?"

With his muscles in such close proximity, the sheer force of his seduction combined with my lack of inhibitions made only one thought roar through my mind—Jason could go to hell.

I would have my own "new beginnings"! I would have as much as I wanted!

Nevertheless, the remaining flicker of my rational mind forbade me from speaking such vulgar words aloud.

"Give me your best service," I managed instead.

He let out a soft laugh at my words and scooped me into his arms. However, when he leaned down for a kiss, I turned my head away, rejecting him.

Not at all bothered by the rebuff, he turned to place me on the massage bed.

As he slowly slid my dress down, I could feel his eyes burning into my back. It wasn't the professional gaze of a masseur; it was an assessing look… the way one might appraise an object.

Under the dim red light, my porcelain skin flowed into the gentle curves of my waist. The shadow cast upon my collarbones trembled like butterfly wings with every shallow breath I took.

His icy fingers trailed from the top of my spine down to my tailbone before gently hooking into the waistband of my underwear.

Then, he plucked at the elastic lightly.

The snap had me shuddering.

"You truly are gorgeous."

I heard the click of a bottle opening, followed by the viscous, sticky sound of oil being poured out. An intense scent of sandalwood began to fill the room.

"Don't be hasty. Let's play a little game first." He purposely huffed a breath against the back of my ear, sending another tremor through me.

Without warning, a pair of warm, oiled hands landed on the back of my neck.

He had powerful hands. As he pressed down, I could feel the thick calluses on his fingertips and palms. Rather than a massage, it felt more like he was searching for something—he wasn't holding back his strength at all.

His thumbs slid down the outside of my spine, deliberately pausing to increase the pressure whenever he reached the small of my back or my waist.

A tingling numbness shot through me, surprisingly pleasant. I couldn't help but squirm, my movements causing the white towel to bunch and wrinkle beneath me.

"Is it sore here?"

He asked even though he clearly knew the answer. His hands slipped further down, his fingertips coming to rest at the seam where my hips met my thighs. As if by accident, his fingernails scraped against the soft, sensitive flesh.

The sensation sent a jolt through my entire body, making my toes curl. My breathing quickened, growing heavy and erratic as the alcohol finally took full control of my senses.

His fingers drew lazy circles on my back. The massage oil, warmed by his palms, left a trail of heat wherever he touched me.

"S-Slow down…"

"Alright, miss." He leaned down to murmur in my ear, "You're severely blocked here, you know."

On the surface, his words sounded like any ordinary massage. Yet, his movements were extraordinarily sensual—almost predatory.

He dragged his fingers across the curves of my waist with a featherlight touch before suddenly pressing hard into the hollow above my tailbone. As he alternated between those light grazes and heavy, firm pressure, I couldn't stop myself from panting.

"You are so very sensitive. I don't think I can hold myself back anymore."

"You—""Think of it as business, sweetheart. 50,000 gold coins for each of them. I don't do deals that lose me money." Woody crowded closer, pulling me onto his lap. His palms slid up my thighs. "Besides, if we count the other night, you're still getting the better end of the deal here."My mind whirred. The situation was spiraling faster than I had anticipated. Ah, damn it!"No!" I couldn't stop myself from trembling, so I leaned into it, playing the part of the terrified victim. I hooked my arms around his neck. "You know I can't… I don't even know them."His hands wandered across my waist, but he remained silent. Seeing he had no intention of speaking up, I pressed my face into his chest, fighting the instinctive urge to gag. I drew slow, shaky circles on his chest with a finger. "Do you think you could—""Nope," he cut me off, leaning down to inhale the jasmine scent I'd sprayed in my hair. "Relax. Very soon, you'll be enjoying pleasure like you've never known. Once you ge

"You only need 5,000 gold coins to get your photos back. Isn't that a steal?" Woody finally cast aside all pretenses, the predatory look on his face making me feel like prey. "I'll be waiting for your answer. If you don't show up on Saturday night, I promise those photos will be uploaded all over the internet that same night."Before I could refuse, Woody downed his drink in one gulp and walked out. Afterward, I recounted every detail of the meeting to Aiden and Millie. Millie immediately insisted on going in my place, but I wouldn't hear of it. I couldn't let her pay the price for my mistake. "Who the hell pays blackmail money at a hotel?" Millie roared furiously. "This is clearly a trap! Maybe we should just borrow the 200,000 gold coins and be done with it."Aiden stepped in. "Millie, don't be naive. You know that even if Megan pays 200,000 gold coins, someone like that will never let her go." Then, he handed me a ring. "This is a special ring for self-defense. I went back to that underground club.Like before, handsome wolves were dancing on the stage, but I wasn't in the mood to enjoy the show this time.My phone weighed heavily in my pocket, a constant reminder of the message I'd received yesterday from an unknown number. The mysterious sender had sent a shocking photo of me. I was barely clothed, lying on a bed with unfocused, glazed eyes. Beneath it was a chilling command. "Tomorrow night, eleven o'clock, at the place we first met. Come alone, or I won't mind sharing these."The moment I'd read those words, it felt as though a cold snake had crawled up my spine and coiled tightly around my throat. The sensation was suffocating. The noisy, thumping environment of the club made me restless. I could hardly think straight; my mind was a chaotic mess. "Hello, beautiful. I'm so delighted you came."The familiar voice rang out behind me. It was him—Woody. He calmly took the seat across from me. Despite the dim lighting, I could fe

By the time the police finished questioning me, it was already four in the afternoon."Ms. Locke," a voice called out behind me.I turned to see one of the officers who had been in the room—a young wolf who had been quietly recording my statement. He had changed out of his uniform and into a plain gray hoodie and dark pants. His dark brown hair fell casually across his forehead, and without the stern professionalism of his badge, he looked like a freshly graduated university student. He was exactly my type, but I was so drained that all I wanted to do was go home and sleep. "Hi, I'm Aiden Carter. Millie has to attend a meeting, so she told me to see you home."After that brief introduction of himself, he led me toward the parking lot. It wasn't until I sank into the seat of his unassuming gray sedan that true exhaustion washed over me. Outside the window, the city's night scenery passed by in a blur of kaleidoscopic colors. However, instead of taking me straight home, Aiden

The shrill ringing of my phone abruptly pierced the haze clouding my mind, snapping me back to my senses."No!"I suddenly realized I couldn't go through with this. I couldn't sleep with a stranger—an unfamiliar wolf I didn't love. I shoved him away from me, causing him to stumble back and crash against the wall."Are you dissatisfied with my service?" He had already unzipped his pants, revealing a wolf-claw tattoo near his crotch and a prominent, heavy bulge. "I don't need that kind of service." Struggling to pull my heavy, sluggish body up, I scrambled for my clothes and yanked them on. "Please leave.""Sweetheart, putting on a strong front now won't end well for you." He stepped toward me, seizing my wrist with a shocking amount of force. "I wasted a lot of effort and energy on you. You've got to at least let me have my fun too, right?""Let me go!"With a loud crack, I landed a harsh slap across his cheek.A dark expression crossed his face, momentarily overlapping with th

The wolf's hands left my body as he moved to a nearby cabinet and produced a gray candle. The moment he lit it, a sweet smell immediately masked the scent of the massage oil.I instinctively furrowed my brow."This candle is made from a special ingredient found only in the southern swamps," he explained. His voice rumbled right above my head, steady and almost hypnotic. "It's meant to soothe the mind and relax the senses. "I'll combine it with a new massage technique. Soon, you'll be feeling so good that you'll forget every worry you've ever had."I didn't respond to his words. Whether it was the alcohol or the candle, my entire body felt loose and limp, as though my bones had turned to jelly. My mind felt like it was drifting through a thick, heavy fog. He pressed close to my hips, and I could feel the sweltering heat radiating from his abs. I squirmed, trying to shift away from the scalding heat, but the friction only caused the wolf behind me to let out a low groan and a mu
