Chapter 46 Someone's Pulling Strings

Someone knocked on the door again. Alec repeated his motions and opened the door, quickly taking another pack of food.

"Your stomach is weak. Have some soup instead." He placed the food before Jenny.

Jenny nodded. "Fine. I'll eat Max's food tomorrow."

Right as she said that, Alec sat opposite her and began devouring Max's food.

Noticing her shocked face, Alec said, upset, "What? You owe me one. Can't I at least have your food?"
