Sad, broken, hurt, were the few adjectives you could use to describe Elizabeth. She had not moved from the spot she was on the floor after finding out that she and Victoria had been talking about the same man all this while.

It hurt her so much that she didn't glance at Victoria once. She was angry at Victoria and at the same time jealous of her.

Ever since they were little, things came easily for Victoria. She was easily accepted by others and people loved to surround her.

She never had an issue with it until now. She suddenly felt angry that everything was always about Victoria. She remembered when they were in middle school. There was a new student and she was the first to crush on him and told Victoria but the boy had confessed to Victoria instead.

It hurt her but she moved on from it because she was her best friend and Victoria had rejected the boy because she didn't like him.
