"Come, let's talk in the car. Someone might recognise me." Mr Smith tells Victoria and she complied as she followed him to the car without uttering any words.

Mr Smith opened the door for her, she entered and he closed the door then walked to the other side and got in.

"Now let's talk." He began as he stretched forward to hold her hands but she pulled her hands back as she folded it across her chest instead.

Mr Smith sighed at her attitude but he continued. "I saw your text but was not in a good position to reply to it. I'm sorry." He said.

Hearing him say sorry melted her heart. She had not thought about it from his perspective but hearing him talk about the reason for him not replying to her message, she felt bad.
