Chapter 34.

Ivy's body hit the floor and heart palpitated. She closed her eyes tightly.

She was expecting to feel an impact on her body but she felt nothing. Instead, she felt a pair of hands on her arms.

Ivy slowly opened her eyes and beheld a man wearing a white shirt.

"Am I in heaven?" Ivy asked, confusedly.

The man in front of her was attractive but looked so familiar.

He was staring at her as if he knew her from somewhere. A smile suddenly appeared on his lips as he recalled.

"Ivy Miller, right?" a broad smile appeared on his lips as he asked her.

Ivy nodded slowly and stared longer at him. She also remembered him.

"Daniel, Daniel Romans," Ivy grinned at him.

She only met him once and he helped her almost in the same way that they just met. He saved her from being hit by a car and introduced himself, their encounter was short but she would be ever appreciative of him.
