Two: Niccolo Capaldi

Two

Niccolo Capaldi

I hadn’t really planned on getting my dick sucked by one of my own waitresses. In fact, I usually tried to keep business and pleasure separate. I was smart that way. I didn’t need some lawsuit saying that I’d been an asshole to a girl. And there were plenty of my “business associates” that had them. Me? I kept my nose clean. I respected women. And, while I wasn’t really the commitment type, I made sure anyone who was with me always had fun.

            Tonight though----tonight was fucking miserable.

Pop had been put in the hospital, and all we could do was wait for him to pass now. Giuseppe Capaldi had worked like a race horse all his life, going at things full speed ahead, never stopping down. Because of him, my brother and I were now the heads of a massive empire that included most, if not all of Boston. Pop had had a heart attack a few months ago. Since then, he had never fully recovered.

Tonight, he had had another one and the doctors didn’t have high hopes that he would recover.

So, I’d slipped. When Anya had batted her lashes at me when she’d come to get her tips for the evening, I lost it. “Want to make me happy?” I whispered to her in her ear, as I cupped her chin. She had looked back at me with her stellar blue eyes, so blue they reminded me of the ocean.

She grinned at me. “What do you want?”

“Suck me off,” I told her.

Without hesitating, she came around to where I was sitting behind my desk. She undid my belt, then my zipper, and pulled my cock out from my boxers. Anya had her mouth expertly around my dick, swirling her tongue with it, when the door opened. “Fuck!” this came from my younger brother, Luca, who covered his eyes.

“Nic! Really?” he groaned. “What’s our one, damn, rule?”

Anya jumped up, blushing. “Mr. Capaldi.”

“Anya.” He averted his gaze from her, looking at the ground. “You find your schedule acceptable for next week?”

Anya nodded, fixed her lipstick, and hair nervously. I smirked, and put myself back in my pants, putting everything back together again.

“Yes sir,” she said, “see you on Monday, sir.” She left quickly, like she had just gotten in trouble with the principle.”

When she was gone, Luca closed the door behind him, glaring at me. “What the fuck are you thinking?” my younger brother asked, running a hand through his blond hair. “The first rule we made when we opened this club was that we wouldn’t fuck the staff.”

I shrugged. “I’m having an off night, okay? Pop being in the hospital has got me all messed up.”

Luca’s gaze softened. “I’m sorry. I know, it’s hard for me too man. Anyway, I’ve got some news that will make you happy.”

            “What news?” I asked.

“Guess who I saw in the club tonight.”

            “Who?” I asked.

“Oh, you know. The one that got away.”

I raised an eyebrow. “You’re going to have to be more specific.”

Luca laughed. “Oh, come on, don’t play coy. Even Pop knew that you were completely in love with this girl.”

“I genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Right.” He ran a hand through his hair. “Well, it’s Daniela Berni.”

I raised an eyebrow. “That’s not possible. She’s in Florida. She’s been there for ages, and she always vowed that she would never come back. Not after everything that our family put her through.”

“Well,” said Luca, “I saw her tonight in the club. Just served her and Audrina Bianchi a drink. Her aunt passed away, and she’s back in the city permanently. Even looking for a job.”

“Permanently?” I said. “You know that could cause trouble for us. If the wrong people find out that she’s back, they’ll go after her.”

“What do you want to do?” Luca asked. “Do you want to have us put one of our men on her so that we can keep her safe?”

I shook my head. “She won’t like that. You remember what she was liked when she lived with us. She was always defiant when she lived with us.”

Luca snorted. “She was defiant with you because you treated her like dirt.”

“I was trying to keep her safe. You remember what the old man used to say. We’re Capaldi’s. Everyone wants a piece of what we have. That includes anyone that we care about. If people knew I had feelings for Daniela, they would use that against me. I don’t want her hurt. She’s a nice girl. She deserves better than us.”

Luca sighed. “I know you’re right.”

Luca was softer than me. He always had been. Had even gone out of his way to be nice to Daniela because he could never stand the idea of someone not liking him. But even he had known that there was the chance that if he was with Daniela, she would get hurt. So, Luca had never taken a chance with her either.

“She’s looking for a job, you said?” I stroked my chin as I spoke.

Luca nodded. “She was taking care of her aunt back in Florida. She never went to college, but you know how bright she was. I think she could be a real asset to the right person.”

“Hmm.” I had a glass of scotch on my desk that I’d been drinking before Anya came in. I took a sip of it. “Leave her to me. I’ll see what we can do. Don’t worry brother, we’ll do whatever we can do keep her safe.”

Luca nodded. “Good. You know that’s why Pop kept such a close eye on her and her mom. Because he knew there was always a chance that Mrs. Berni’s past could come back and haunt her, you know?”

“I do. And we’re going to keep it from happening. Whatever the cost.”
