She would be giving the cake to him today and was hoping he would like it, because she felt it was too cheap.

"I guess he will, yeah, he isn't that proud." She said as she stood in front of the mirror, applying her lip gloss, she was convincing herself he would appreciate the cake and giggled at it.

"I'm off sis," Carmen said, heading out of the house, briskly.

"Okay darling. I hope your man really loves the cake!" Anita said stifling a laughter.

"What man?!" Carmen asked

"Your CEO, of course."

" Oh my God, sis. You're about to waste my time, but I have to go now, I'll see you later today," Carmen said quickly hurrying out.

She got to work quite early and checked if Boss Kay was already present. The cake was wrapped in a cake paper firmly,neatly packed and was placed in a pouch bag to carry.There was also a wine she bought to add to the gift and make it more presentable. The wine, and pouch bag containing the cake was together in a small bag.
