Chapter 3

LIAM'S P.O.V:

Today was the most frustrating day ever.... Owing most of the companies, hotels and investments all over the world is the most frustrating and tired of all the other jobs.

Perks of being a CEO.

Even though being a CEO with handful of work I can't forget her voice and I wanted to hear that voice again and again. I want to hear her speak and sing for me.

Wait what!?

For me?!

I must have gone insane .

Seriously!

Liam you really need to clear your mind.

But she kept popping in my mind. I even went to the park where I saw her for the first time hoping that she would come and sing and soothe my mind with her fucking beautiful voice of hers. I didn't even get to see her face.

Such a unlucky person aren't I?

God damn! Man just stop thinking about her and focus on your job! My sub-conscious reminded me.

After all the works done I went to my one and only best friend's shopping complex so that we can discuss the business matters with him. I was beyond tired to go there but , I have to go.

Roaming with the thoughts I reached there. I saw a event was going on which was eventually conducted to attract audiences around the city. I'm sure it was pretty hit because people were happily participating in the random stuff. I know my best friend none less to me. He has been my best friend since childhood and he is the only one person who handles all my mood swings and obviously knows me very well.

"Hey man!" My friend Aiden Pearce came towards me and engulfed me in his famous tight bear hug. You will never know his hugs are best but I never mentioned to him in all these years because that will boost his ego.

"God damn man! You never grow up right. Still being the old and child Aiden." I teased him.

"Shut up you bastard, You don't even think about me. All you do your work, just like a robot and go home again repeat the same thing. Live a little brother."  He whined like a kid.

Typical Aiden.

"Whatever!" I sighed.

I know he will came up with that damn question. He is going to be the death of me one day. He guesses my mind so easily. I've said that I've met this girl with a beautiful voice and asked him not to take this topic again. But Aiden being him,

"So found that lucky girl who stole your heart!" He winked and asked smirking at me.

"I came here for business Aiden, not for the unnecessary stuff!" I rubbed my face frustratingly. I was not frustrated because of Aiden but because not be able to hear her voice. I never saw her after the day at park. I intrigued me so much. I wanted to ask William so I can see her, but I refrained myself doing that.  I'll probably look like a stalker.

"Come on man live  a little just give a try. We can find her, if you accept." He said softly seeing my frustrated expression.

"Shut up Aiden. I'm not interested in girls. Not after what happened. I'm not gonna do that same mistake again."

"I know what you are thinking, but not everyone is in need for sex. Just think about it." He said softly hoping I would agree with him.

In my heart I wanted to give myself a chance again, but I was afraid to trust people. My mind overtakes me that shut downs my heart. So I chose my mind, ignoring people and rude to them,  even though they are good one.

"I know! Still I need to move on from that awful memories she gave." I mumbled quietly.

"Soon you will man." Aiden smiled at me.

I smiled.

That moment what everything stops.....

I'm hearing her voive again, god damn she is singing that too CLOSER. Aiden's eyes widened in shock as he sensed it though he haven't heard her voice. We both sprint towards the stage where the event is held.

What the hell with the crowd?

I'm hearing her voice again after a week. I can't miss her again after those long wait at the park like last time. I need to find her. the urge made me to run fast as possible.

Her voice as much as calming me I wanted to see her and am so much excited to hear her again. No I'm taking a chance to miss her right now! I pushed past everyone and rushed towards her.

I saw her wavy long black hair in a braid. Why I always miss to see her face?

I need to hurry fast and see her.

As I was still far from her she finished her song all I could hear was loud applause and whistles and cheering for her. I saw her getting off the stage but I couldn't get to see her face.

Aiden and me pushed past everyone and tried our best to reach her.

But everything ended in vain.

I missed her again.

I must be really insane.

Me LIAM KNIGHT the most arrogant, ruthless and cold-hearted billionaire searching for a girl just for her voice.  I'm really fucked up right now.

I was beyond pissed.

Fuck! I cursed at myself missing her after these long days of waiting.

Aiden snapped me out of my thoughts.

"We can still find her with the CCTV footage here." He said with a smile.

"No no need I don't need that."

"Okay!" That's all he said.

I'm not in the mood for any shit and I'm pretty  pissed off right now .

With that I bid good bye to Aiden who has a worried expression in his face.

I gave him a weak smile and left there.

With the thoughts of her singing in the stage her figure that is imprinted in my mind.

I just need some divertion.

I reached my penthouse and drifted off to sleep with her occupying my mind.
