Tonia's POV.

What was Alpha Keith talking about? Was he out of his mind?

"Luna, please don't step out of the car no matter what," One of the guards instructed.

My heart pounded even more violently at his words. How could he expect me to stay here?

"Where are both of you going?" I panicked.

"We have to get rid of them. His Majesty gave us a duty to take care of you, and you must not get hurt, even if it costs our lives," The guard driving, said and unbuckled his seatbelt.

"No, you can't do that. Can't we try to drive backward—"

"There's another car behind us," He cut me off.

I took a good look around and realized that we were really surrounded. How were they going to fight so many werewolves?

They were outnumbered.

I shook, "I want to help you."

"You can help us by staying in the car and coming out under no circumstances."

They both immediately exited the car before I could even argue.
