Jayden's POV.

"Jayden!" Antonia panicked.

She tried to hold my hand, but I quickly stood to my feet. I didn't want her to get whatever I had.

"Jayden, are you okay?" She asked, looking so worried.

I wanted to speak again, but I ended up coughing. I coughed out more blood than before.

Fuck! I was just making her scared.

"Jay, please go to the hospital. Please," She pleaded, still trying to come close to me.

I extended my hand, trying to tell her to keep her distance.

"I don't think you should get close to me," I said between coughs.

"Why? You said the cause of the illness was magical," She stated in confusion.

"It might be magical, but it seems to be contagious. I don't want to take chances right now. Let's just keep our distance," I pleaded.

"You are having our baby. It won't be good for you to fall sick," I pleaded again.

I didn't know how I got this sickness, but it would be better for my woman to remain healthy. There would also be a chance for the pack to have an heir.
