Rose paled, her hand instinctively flying up to grab the necklace.

Marcus' and Candace's faces fell. Naturally, they recognized the necklace.

Pointing a finger at Rose, Candace uttered in a quavering voice, "You… Why do you have that necklace?"

To say my parents' expressions were dark was an understatement. Dad let out a scoff before looking at Marcus. "Is this what you meant when you said he was keeping himself pure?"

Marcus was so infuriated that his lips were trembling. Whipping around, he landed a harsh smack across Walter's cheek. "You bastard! This is for going down the wrong path!"

He grabbed Walter by the collar and dragged him over to my bed, pressing him down on the bed before me.

"Lily is pregnant with your pup, yet you gifted the Luna's necklace to another she-wolf! Do you think you've done right by her? How could you do that to her? To her parents, your mother, and me? Hurry up and apologize to Lily!"
