'He saved me today, uncle Damien. That man was about to hurt and harm me but he saved me from him in time. He is not a bad person. His heart is really very big, that's why, even when he hates me, he still thought about saving me from getting hurt. I know I shouldn't dare to neglect your decision but please don't send him away from his own home. It will hurt Aunt Zia a lot. It will hurt you too and it will also hurt him a lot. Even if he hates me, he loves you both, so please don't give him this big punishment, please forgive him and…….I want you to send me to an orphanage and I am not saying this because he hates me. I am saying this because he deserved to get loved by you both, so don't push away your child from you because of me. It will always make me feel guilty….. Please forgive him. Don't send him away from you, aunty Zia and his own home….. please…..'Damien finally reached the end of that letter she had written. He put that paper down and finally turned his head to look at th
Kaya felt like her throat had turned extremely dry in fear, like she hadn't drunk anything since ages, after watching that person in front of her. The way he was staring at her, it felt like she was his little prey who had dared to enter into the den of her predator. She gulped in order to hold back that urge of running away from there and never to come in front of him again. Kaya took a step back, enduring his terrifyingly empty gaze on her. She started looking here and there and finally found what she was looking for. Zian, didn't utter a single word, but silently watched her pacing towards a table. She took that pen and paper which was available on the top of that table. He saw her writing something on it. Her hands were trembling as she was trying her best to write as fast as possible. Within a minute, she dropped the pen on the table and then grabbed that paper. Turning her head towards his direction, Kaya found his eyes were still on her. Exhaling a soft sigh, she walked towa
Kaya entered her room while crying, after her encounter with him in his room. She closed the door of her room and then dashed towards the bed. The little girl threw herself on the bed and buried her face into the pillows. That night, she cried her heart out because she just couldn't stop her mind from repeating his words which he had said to her and that promise he had given to her. Why did he hate her so much? What had she done to him? These questions continued to repeat in her head that entire night and she finally closed her eyes when her eyes started hurting with the countless harsh tears she had shedded and even her body started hurting which made her sleep to finally take over her.Next morning, Kaya woke up to the loud noises of cars' honking. She got up and sat on the bed. She rubbed her eyes and felt her eyelids were feeling too heavy to even move but then she remembered the reason behind it. Her eyes widened when she remembered what happened in his room. She looked at the c
"It's been five years since that accident has happened, Mr Karlson, but there's no improvement in Kaya's condition," A heavy sigh escaped from Damien's mouth, hearing the doctor. Zia was sitting beside him and her heart ached. They were hearing this same thing from the past 5 years. Kaya's health didn't improve even a bit. It was like that poor girl had lost her voice forever, but Zia and Damien were not ready to accept it. They were doing everything possible, so that she could get back her voice. "The surgery we performed a couple of months ago, we had expected her to get back her voice because the surgery went successful, but she showed no positive response and currently, it's risking to perform another surgery on her so soon," The couple again heaved, and then nodded in agreement. "But doctor the therapy sessions and everything she has been receiving from the past 5 years?" Zia asked with a slight hope to get any positive response. "Nothing is working on her, Mrs Karlson. You
"Okay….okay, next time, when I go there, I will get those blue-coloured roses for you, but now don't make these angry faces, Kaya," Leo uttered, watching his best friend sitting beside him. An angry pout was playing on her full lips whereas her golden brown eyes were glaring at him because he had gone somewhere for work where blue roses used to be available, but he didn't bring them for her and now was announcing it to her. Kaya sent him a tiny glare which made him chuckle because of her slightly fluffy cheeks which were looking more adorable now, as she had puckered up her lips in anger.Leo squeezed her beautifully round and soft cheeks."Okay, I am sorry, Miss twinkling bracelet. I promise, I will bring them for you next time," Her tiny anger immediately faded because Kaya wasn't the type of person to remain angry at someone for very long, especially her loved ones.Kaya beamed which made Leo chuckle too. Both the best friends started laughing.Damien and Zia were watching them f
The gentle and warm rays of the sun entered into the room, through the window. Kaya slowly opened her eyes and blinked her eyes in order to adjust her blurry vision. Soft snores of Jazlyn were tickling her ear. Kaya looked at her both sides and smiled while watching her both friends still asleep. Iris and Jazlyn were hugging her like she was a pillow. Kaya shook their shoulders to wake them up. It was already 9 in the morning. Her uncle Damien and aunty Zia probably would have woken up a lot while ago. Iris was the first one to wake up with Kaya whereas Jazlyn snuggled herself more into the pillows and quilts. Kaya and Iris chuckled, watching Jazlyn. "Let her sleep for sometime, till we get freshen up, Kaya," Kaya nodded at Iris and then she went to the bathroom. One by one, the girls took their shower and did their morning routine. Kaya gave her clothes to Iris and Jazlyn because they all had almost the same physique and they were used to sharing their clothes with each other dur
Kaya saw her aunty Zia's eyes gleaming up with happiness after whatever he said to her on call."Okay, I will inform your dad about this. Take care," Zia hung up the call and looked at Kaya. She passed her a huge happy grin which turned Kaya a bit confused, until…."Zian is coming back tomorrow, Kaya. His flight is going to land tomorrow before the sunset," Zia uttered. For a brief moment, Kaya went completely still. She needed time to comprehend that news and when finally she understood it, her lips stretched into a big and joyful smile. He is finally coming back. Her wish finally got fulfilled. Now her aunty Zia and uncle Damien are going to be the happiest and he will also get the love of his parents he had always deserved and might have craved too."I am so happy. He is finally coming back," Kaya's heart felt more content, witnessing her aunty so happy. That was the kind of happiness she had always wished to see on her uncle and aunty's faces. That happiness which they had lost t
For a brief moment, Kaya felt like every single thing around her had frozen, as soon as those extremely pale blue eyes came in contact with her golden ones. Her heart dropped to its lowest beating. She wanted to tear her eyes away from his, but didn't know why she was still looking into those piercing azure eyes. But Kaya immediately snapped back into reality and darted her eyes away from his. She looked at her uncle Damien and passed him a smile. She walked towards them, making sure to not look at him. She herself didn't know why she was trying to ignore him when now it was quite impossible to do when they were going to live under the same roof. Kaya extended the tray of soft drinks to her uncle. Damien grabbed one glass and patted her head."Thank you," he said, smiling. She returned the smile and then turned to face Leo. Her smile widened more by watching him. Leo was also beaming at her. She herself grabbed a glass of his favourite soft drink and extended it towards him.Leo chuc
