“I heard you signed the deal with Alpha Drake.” Lucian's voice resonated to my ears, stopping me in my tracks. A smile curled on my lips. I hadn't expected the news to remain a secret, and I had even planned to tell him myself. I turned back around, folding my arms across my chest.

"I see it was about time I stepped forward. And I know you the news will come to you, without the need of me telling you." I replied. Lucian's brows knitted together. I wasn't sure if he was unaware he was doing that or if he did it intentionally. I know he had asked Harold to keep an eye on my every mood.
