A faint knock on the door disturbed the man inside. He rolled his eyes before muttering, “Come in.”

Alessandra took a deep breath before pushing the door open. She peeked inside and saw him writing something on the sheet, his whole attention was on what he was writing. She sighed and then stepped inside, earning the man’s full attention.

“What’s the matter, Ms Irad, you should have been present in your patient’s ward at this time, right?” He cocked his brow, taunting her clearly. She just ignored his words. It is his habit. He loves insulting her. Then it does not matter if there is a crowd around her, or nobody.
