Having a date with a set of black coffee and cookies at the middle of Sunday was fun-fucking-tastic for Maleficent who was plagued with a series of tiring events that dried the heck out of her wits end. Now, she could finally take a day off to herself where no red flags involved and that went without saying.
For someone who once lived at the apex of a buzzing mortal city, she was quite used to the constant rumbling of Nimbus clouds around her and the occasional thunderclaps with a series of blinking lightning zaps in tow.
Clad in her black lacey chemise minus her usual stockings and eyeliner, Cent let herself be immersed of enjoying her simmering black coffee while reading the Holy Grail book which would make her father flip if he saw her. Her bare feet curled against the cold tiled floor, a cluster of shadow hovering over her acted as her umbrella against the harsh downpour of rain that always whipped the Hous

What the heck? The very first thing that welcomed Maleficent as she stepped into the academy’s hallway after flipping her gigantic wings were the flags that littered the ceilings and walls. There were three distinct designs that she immediately differentiated. The first flag was a golden one embroidered with silver thread. The embroidery made her brows rose dramatically. It was a pair of angel wings that surrounded a knight’s sword. Definitely from those arrogant angels. The second flag that she observed was hanging next to the Benevolent’s flag. It had a deep green color with golden embroidery of a lush and prestigious-looking tree. It emphasized its long and scattering root
The Ambivalent World had nature as its apex, and by nature, it meant growth and life. It respected the flow of life, also known as the great circle. Witches, wizards, elves, dwarves, werewolves, nymphs, mermaids, fairies, pixies, and so on—all of them represented a certain element. One could exist under the vast ocean but be repulsed by land. Some could touch the sky but feared the murky underwater. And most dwelled with nature and hated the beings that defiled the natural circle of life—like the wizard, Merlin. Clad in his purple-colored robe and signature square eyeglasses that covered his vivid albino red eyes, Merlin slouched at the corner of the library. His sandy blonde hair was disheveled as if he did not bother to fix his hair after showering. His pert nose barely held the huge eyeglass that occupied half of his face, but it did not deter his attention from reading a book twice the widt
“You’re stalking him again.” Matilda grunted as she joined Maleficent. The latter was hiding behind an oak tree. Students passed by them since they were at the greenhouse where ‘everyone’ was fucking welcome. Emphasis on ‘everyone’. Apparently, being a member of the dark dwellers’ team, also known as ‘the Malevolent World beings’, instantly made them a no-no in the greenhouse. The elves and the prickly elves cultivated the greenhouse were the members of the Ambivalent World. “We are stalking him.” Cent corrected Matilda which only earned her another set of grunts from the zombie girl who would rather spend her lunch break at the Sinner’s café than be stuck near the hangout area of the Ambivalent students who were giving them a hard glare every chance they could get. The greenhouse was the Sinner’s Café counterpart for the Ambivalent students—only theirs was located inside the premise of the a
“Hey, he’s my prince. So move along and leave me be.” Maleficent whispered under her breath, which she was sure that Damon heard. After all, he was standing beside her. Gone was the barrier that protected the ambivalent students because of the lack of focus of the caster of the spell. Deon, son of Undine, was still captive with Damon’s left hand. The latter kept his right hand tuck under his pocket. In a bored tone, he asked the flustered Deon again, as if he did not heard her. “What is happening here?” “Control your people, Damon.” Deon finally took the courage to remove his fist from Damon’s palm as if he was never cowering a few minutes ago. Trying to save his dignity in front of his fellow ambivalent students, Deon straightened his shoulders as he tried his earnest to meet the glowing pair of embers—his topaz eyes were shaking. “This midget? My people?” Damon looked down at her before turning back
Carriages with different flagships paraded the grand gates of the Transylvania Academy. Though Maleficent did not know that such a lavish gate existed if she was not dragged by Matilda at the earliest crack of dawn, she would not know that the academy had a gate after all. It sounded dumb but Cent shrugged it all.Why use a gate when I can just fly, right? Now, still clad in her hobo pajamas, Cent stood beside Matilda who was hopping her bony legs. It was basically the crack of dawn and she was half-asleep but Matilda climbed through the walls of her room like a spider monkey and she basically dragged her sleepy ass outside the House of Lamentation just to watch a flock of magical carriages popping out from everywhere through their portals. Though some were not using portals and instead chose to show off by using a Pegasus or a centaur for their carriages – not to mention, there were carriages that used dire wolves and polar be
An identical pair of glowing green eyes met hers and the next moment she knew, Maleficent was now engulfed with a bone-crashing hug from her father, who lifted her up like she weighed nothing at all. An ‘oomph’ sound escaped from her lips, which was yet to be brushed, so she immediately closed her mouth, too conscious with her father. Cent was about to open her lips to tell her father about breakfast and the fangirling zombie at her back when Gukasho interrupted their mini-reunion by faking a cough. “Your Grace, I think it is best to great the headmaster and to let Lady Maleficent change her clothes.” His fist-sized eyes scanned Maleficent from head to toe before shifting his judging eyes to her father. Her father followed suit and looked at her hobo pajamas, which almost made her wince from embarrassment. “Hmm. Yes, I better do that.” He nodded towards Gukasho before looking back at her with a smile as he ruffled the bird’
The murmuring of the people and the guests seized as all heavy stares pinned on one being. With strides that elicited a ‘tic tac’ sound onto the cobblestones and the fluttering shade of red and black butterflies around her softly flowing loose strands of hair, a horned being identical to the one who was sitting right at the Demon King’s seat strode towards the two-story tent with opened balcony wherein her father was sitting languidly.Clad in her usual black-colored knightly uniform and a red cape that Gukasho insisted for her to wear for this event, Maleficent the Glutton looked as much as noble as her father. No one would know that she was sporting a clammy pair of hands.Fucking perfect.Though Cent relished the idea that she was the beloved daughter of Grand Duke Beelzebub the Glutton, she was still not used to this kind of attention. Being a Halfling was something that she
Headmaster Kirk was also known as the Kraken that could devour islands and coasts in one go when he was crossed by the creators of the world or even by the proud demon king and angels. He was a strong beast that was feared especially in the ocean where Krakens usually lived. He was the last of his kind when the grand duke of the Nether World went on a killing spree when he lost his wife. That made him the best candidate as the headmaster of Transylvania Academy wherein it was neutral territory. And now, he was standing on the floating podium as he gave his welcoming speech. “Welcome to our Tri-World Tournament that is held every ten years! Every once in a decade, the gates that separate the three worlds unite to strengthen the harmony of peace among us. I am pleased to announce that we are doing that starting today until the end of this month – no boundaries that are forbidden to cross, no animosity among the blood enemies, just magic!”
