I don't believe it

Letta continued to pace back and forth in her room, still not getting any news from Marco. Occasionally, she glanced at the clock on the wall, which indicated it was midnight, but Marco had yet to return or give her any news, leaving Letta to pray for her husband's well-being. Letta knew well that as a businessman, Marco had many people after him, which was what currently worried her.

Letta then tried to contact Marco via the hotel room phone, using the numbers Marco had left for her. There was Pedro's number, the driver's number, and her own number, but there was no answer from any of these numbers, including Marco's. It seemed as if they had agreed not to be disturbed.

"I hope Marco is okay. God, I beg you to protect my husband wherever he is," Letta said, clasping her hands together, praying to God.

The door to their room suddenly opened, causing Letta to immediately get up from her seat, turn on the main light, and see Marco standing at the doorway, gazing at her.
