Chapter Twenty

Kayla turned in her bed, turned again, then buried her head in the pillow. That piano song Anthony was playing really tampered with her temper. She tightened the pillow against her head, and growled. How dare he play Clinton's song?

He was going to stage another pretentious drama this morning too? She angrily shook herself on the bed before heading to the bathroom, trying to ignore the schmuck and his drama. ‘Love In Another World’ was one of Clinton's songs people knew, anyway, so he couldn't fool her with it.

She went downstairs and found the schmuck where he sat on the piano stool, wholeheartedly playing the song. Dammit! How she wanted to walk up to him and give him a befitting knock on the head. The dude was a pain in the ass, on top of it he was weird. She spent most of the night thinking about the blood on his shirt, she wouldn't do the same this morning. Shaking her head, she swaggered off.

After work, where Kayla reconciled with Kiran, she paid Nora a visit at the hospital.
