Anthony parked in the hospital lot. Taking his blazer from the car coat rack, he shut the car door and donned the blazer over the white turtleneck sweater he wore before he walked into the hospital. He was at Asrijet conference when Spencer gave him an urgent call, requesting he drove down to the office quickly. Seven days had passed without seeing Kayla, and it had been like hell. He lived with the suffering, as the break was a source of her happiness. He had to endure the loneliness, even if it was his week of death. Anthony had no idea why Spencer requested he came that urgently, but he hoped Kayla was alright.

He was heading to Spencer's office when a chubby, dark-skinned female nurse he knew came approaching with a smile slapped on her face. She was one of Spencer's hard-working nurses that worked both in NHO and the main hospital. “Dr. Spencer asked me to scoop you to NHO conference room. Man, a lot is going on down there as always.”
