Chapter 73

Storm

The next morning, I woke up early, feeling hungry. When I went to move, I felt the bruised aching within my core. As much as it hurt, I needed to get up, I needed food. I hadn’t eaten since our brunch the day before and I was starving. I got out of bed without waking Doyle and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. It was so early that the Omegas weren’t even awake yet. I opened the fridge and got out the bacon and eggs and grabbed the hash browns out of the freezer. I walked over to the pantry and grabbed out the ingredients to make pancakes, crepes and croissants. I had been cooking for large groups for years, so making a big breakfast didn’t bother me.

I turned on the coffee makers so they could make fresh batches of coffee. Then I made my way over to a cupboard and grabbed out a few electric frying pans and set them on the benches before I turned them on to heat.
