34 : An Unexpected Call

When they reached their home, Zren accompanied the twins until they fell asleep, making sure that they were okay.

After she confirmed that the two were already fast asleep. She exited the room and went downstairs.

The lights were already off so the whole house was dark and silent. Only the dim light from the moon that pierced through the cracks of the curtains slightly lit up the place.

When she reached her destination which was the kitchen, Zren didn't turn on the lights, instead, she used her phone's flashlight as a guide.

She then opened the fridge and took out several cans of flavored liquor and some chips from the cupboard.

Placing the things she just gathered on the counter and sit beside them, Zren opened a can of beer and the packaging of the chips.

In the depth of darkness, Zren stared at nothing, she just silently continued to eat and drink with an uncaring blank expression.
