Mia Pov (1 week later)
It's been a week since Liam was taken away. Patrick got one of his PI buddies to help us out. He called this morning and told us that he has a lead on who told the CPS.
We are currently waiting for him. Once we find out who did this the next step two can commence. I went to speak to the CPS and they told me that even if the person retracts they cannot stop the investigation. This is something to do with a child and they take it quite seriously.
I just want to find out who did this so that I can ask them why? I have always tried to be a nice person. How can anyone do this to me?
There is a knock on the door. Ava gets up and opens the door. She comes back with a woman walking in behind her. Patrick walks towards the woman and gives her a hug. She has a huge grin on her face.
"This is Darcy Phillips. She is my sister and The P.I I told you about."
