Mia POV
Kai just came back from the CPS office. He told us that he spoke to the lady that was assigned the case. She understood his side of the story but told him there was nothing she could do. All we can do now is wait until their investigations are over. He also had a chance to speak to Liam. Liam promised to behave and not to tell them that he has been living with me.
We are consulting with Patrick in 30 minutes to get him up to speed about everything. He already went and made a formal complaint at the police station, stating that Liam was removed from my care. That is a form of kidnapping since Kai entrusted me with the care of my brother.
