Chapter 8. Anna's pov

I woke up with headache, but when I looked around me, I realized that I was out of the woods. Memories of my parents rolling their heads on the floor jerked me into a downward spiral of unhappy emotions.

The door opened and the older woman that stepped in, I recognized.

"Anna, you're up."

"Healer Susan," The wet cloth I didn't realize was on my forehead dropped to my lap which made me raise a brow.

It seemed that I was back in Blue Thunder. I assumed Luke brought me here because he was the last person I saw before I passed out.

Now that I was here, I felt a bit awkward because I knew what it costed for me to be brought back here. I hated it. I really hated it. If only I was stronger.

"Anna," The space in front of me dipped down and I instantly knew Susan was sitting in front of me. "Dear child…" she sighed.

I looked up at her and let my tears fall. I grabbed her right hand and said, "You believe me and my parents, don't you? We'll never poison the Alpha's father, especially not Haiden
