Chapter 1: Open start

The manager threw the document on the table.

 "What are you doing?"

He angrily stood up, pointed down to the document he had just thrown on the table, and looked her in the face like a slap of water:

“Look at this is your new work. Jenny I told you that if you couldn't write a piece this month, you quit your job."

When she finished, she gasped, she saw that and took the glass of water on the table and brought it to him.

"Your manager drinks a fire."

The new manager had just finished speaking, so he was a little thirsty to see a glass of water brought to him and took a big sip, which meant he died. When he finished drinking, he realized that he was receiving her glass of water, it was too late.  Jenny saw that the manager was more gloomy when the dog's foot said:

"Sorry manager, I'm going to try to write a great novel so you can be proud of having an employee like me."

The manager gave her a nervous eye, and then the superior indicated:

"I'm telling you the truth, Jenny."

She replied: "I'm listening."

The manager continued: "Your recent works aren't as impressive as the previous ones, you know why?"

In fact, she also knew that her recent writings were no longer as attractive to readers as the first sets even though she had tried a lot but she really did not have a hunch that the idea was just written in a mechanical way, even she knew that it was not good but it was time to submit the manuscript.

"Why?" She looked at the manager with the expectation that he would like to tell her the cause.

manager this time responded no longer angry with her:

"What you lack in these new series is the soul, the enthusiasm in you. Your love for it is no more, it is just the commercialization of it. So her series does not leave an impression on the reader. I said that, do you understand? Why is the face so stupid?"

Jenny still didn't understand what he was saying and shook his head. The manager sighed for a moment, holding the cup of water for another sip.

"I'm telling you this to understand. She had to see each of her works as a child, she wanted it to grow up healthy, she had to take care of it. She puts all her thoughts into the work itself as well as the character to emotionalize the mind of the character she writes. My aunt's work has not felt any emotion in this." He threw your new manuscript file on your desk.

Jenny nodded a head as if he had somewhat understood what he was saying.

Her look at her hundred stupid faces, the manager chatted as if to find a solution:

"How many love have you been through?"

Jenny shook her head once from a young age until now she has not even experienced any love. Her face is also good looking, the left side is rubbed, the eyes of the pigeon are large round plus the cheeks are dimpled, the height of 1m6 does not count as too low overall is so lovely that twenty-three blue spring has not loved a single person.

In fact, someone noticed her, but finding out for a while was nowhere to be found, there was always an unintended problem. Like the 11th grader who had a friend at the table who noticed her, the two also talked happily as if there would be a happy ending but suddenly a new girl moved to notice him, attacked so intensely that the two of them became a couple, and the girl who was a best friend could only stand next to congratulate inside only jealously. By the time of the first year of college, there was a herd of second-year canopies, she had also horses prepared to fall apart, but who would have expected him to be a scholarship to study abroad so she lost her toothpick. Another year three, her mother had distant relatives, distant relatives had a friend, that friend had a son a year older than her thought that at that time was preparing to practice in the last year, the two of us met and also went out a few times before the other friend confessed to love when we heard that he was the son of the director. The company is practicing the pregnancy is again broken in the middle of the road.

It is said that two out of three times so her mother also does not force anything but let her feathers until now still do not have a lover. Everyone who knows her sad love story also comforts a few or three sayings that there is grace to come, but the charm until the age of 23 has not seen anything.

The manager saw her shaking her head and asked helplessly again to determine:

"You... Have you ever had a boyfriend?"

Jenny replied:

"Not yet, manager."

The manager clapped her forehead with a hand and looked at her with unimaginable eyes.

"You're 23 years old this year, right? Haven't there been a love interest yet? Blame her works for not exuding the soul, the love of life that readers need. You write the character of two people who love each other very dry, you know?"

“I know I'll fix it."

"Fix it? I think you need to find yourself a boyfriend to see what the power of love adds pink to your work."

"Boyfriend?"

"Yes, I'll give you a deadline to submit the draft to the next month. In two months, find yourself again. After all, her work lacks what to improve on and the reader embraces. Don't give me a pile of scrap paper like this."

Jenny replied:

"Yes, manager, I'll try."

Then Jenny turned around and tried to leave the office but did not go far, he was called back by the manager.

“What going on?"

Since then, her ears are about to grow picky to the place and just hope to get out of here quickly.

"Bring the scraps of paper you brought to my desk."

Jenny walked carefully to take them away before leaving and closing the door gently, not to make this manager angry again.

Coming out of the management office to squeak back to her seat, the new LyLy girl who entered this company has not long seen her return to her face as if anyone asking for money immediately asked:

"Why did you get scolded by that tube?"

Jenny nodded his head and pushed the chair out to sit at work and then face down on the table and groaned:

"I've been scolded three times this month, my ears are about to grow cocooned."

LyLy saw that and put the chair close to her.

"It's okay, sister, there's me, I'm three times too, I'm about to be scolded for the fourth time."

She looked at her without bothering to speak, being scolded but so happy that as soon as she finished speaking, the assistant came here to tell LyLy:

"LyLy, The manager has a job looking for you."

She said it, leaving LyLy's face grimacing and whispering to her:

"I think I need to buy the manager a box of brain tonics plus some sore throat tablets."

She said bravely and bravely walked toward the management room. She watched and only shook her head and worried about her fate and was also eaten like herself.

Sitting rearranging her pile of works, flipping over and reading it word by word, she felt just as the manager said her recent works lacked the poetic, romantic qualities that love novels often have.

Depressed to read for a while, she was also released by the manager, compared to her time in detention she was less boring.

Sitting bored all day finally waiting for the end of the shift, sluggishly stretching out a bag and swiping a card and leaving the company. It's been five hours of sun time behind rows of high-rise buildings leaving a magical shimmering sunset. The time of traffic jams, this is also the rush hour of traffic jams, her choice is to take the bus without having to choose but that the poor girl does not have money to buy a car to go.

As she walked to the train, she reflected on the words the manager said earlier, what he said made sense. Ever since she was a wet-footed fourth-year student writing novels online and luckily so many people noticed that the company contacted her to cooperate. Her debut work is not very famous but also well received by a part of the reader, her knack is to write urban love genres. But it's always a subject that turns around and turns so that her later works aren't as well received as they were at first. Part of it is that she only runs in sufficient quantities and forgets the inherent quality of a work that wants to attract the reader. The manager had her move the manuscript until the other month, so now she had time to review and experience something new.

Finally reaching the destination she wanted, swerving past the new people who had just arrived, now her hair and ears were all shaking up looking funny. At times like this, her determination to become a famous novelist of hundreds of millions of fans is even stronger. Then she would buy a supercar with a spacious apartment so that she would not have to be in the situation as it is now but the thought is only the thought that the thought becomes a reality is the problem.
