Alicia's POV

“Where are you going?” Alexander's cold voice rang out from behind me, and I felt the blood in my veins boil.

“Home!” I yelled, stomping my feet as I stormed down the street.

“Oh? Is that so?” He continued, and I clenched my hands tightly. I paused in my tracks and spun around quickly.

“What has gotten into… ouch!” I yelped in pain after my head hit a hard wall.

Come on! Why are they always aiming at my head?!

“Are you okay?” His hot breath on my neck, and I didn't think straight again. I blankly stared at his uniform, and that was when I noticed how close we were.

I pushed him away, but I was the one who got pushed. I lost my balance and almost crashed on the floor, but before I could do that, his hand grabbed my waist and pulled me to him.

“I asked… if you were okay,” He added, this time his voice was low at a dangerous level. I gulped hard and slowly raised my head to look at his face.

He wasn't smiling.

His black eyes stared at mine, and I noticed how they emitted a soft hue. It must be from the mate bond, cause I can feel my wolf howling excitedly.

I gulped nervously as my eyes trailed down to his lips. They're so gorgeous.

I have never seen the triplets up close before.

He's so… beautiful.

I know guys don't like being called that, but that's the only word I can think of right now.

“There's a hotel nearby,” He whispered in a low tone.

“I know,” I said dreamily.

“We can book one tonight…’’ He continued, his voice sounding dangerously low and toxic.

“Mm…” I nodded slowly, my eyes fixed on his lips that were slowly closing the space between us.

“..and you and I will mate all night,” He groaned, moved his head sideways and kissed my neck.

“Ye-WHAT?!” I snapped out of my trance and pulled myself away from him.

What the fuck?!

I softly slapped my face twice, then glared at him.

He straightened his back, tucked his hands deep into his hoodie's pockets, and pretended like nothing had happened.

I bit the inside of my mouth hard and moved my gaze away from him.

‘Damn it!’ I cursed when I saw the pedestrian walking around us.

I rolled my bag down my arm and used it to shield my face.

This is very bad!

“I hate you!”

I stomped my feet and ran away.

“That's not the way back home, Alicia!” Alexander's voice rang behind me, and I almost stumbled on the floor from embarrassment.

I'm not familiar with the streets yet.

.

.

.

“Ughhh, someone should please kill me!” I threw my bag away and crashed on my bed.

“Ughhh!” I screamed into my pillow and kicked my feet in the air.

Damn you Alex!

I screamed for who knows when, before I finally calmed down.

I rolled onto my back and stared at the ceiling. Everywhere was quiet, as if I were the only person in this world.

“Tomorrow… mum and dad will attend the meeting.” I muttered, my voice trailing off at the ‘dad’ part.

If only he were still alive.

My eyes slowly closed as I went through a memory lane, one that was buried deeply in my heart.

“I will forever miss him,” I added, and slowly, everything went blank.

“ALICIA COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR DINNER”

“Ah! Who is it? Who broke into the house?!” My eyes snapped open, and before I could register what was going on, my forehead had already slammed the cold floor.

“Ughh,” I winched as pain shot through me. I raised my head and gently rubbed the spot.

“I can't feel my forehead again,” I moan, feeling numb.

“Alicia?!” My mum's voice shook my eardrums, and I groaned in frustration.

“I'll be downstairs in a minute, mum!”

I sprang to my feet, entered the bathroom, came out, and wore a fresh dress. I picked up my phone and noticed it was late in the evening.

I locked the door behind me and rushed downstairs.

“Is that what happened? Damn, you did it good Alex,” Arnold's annoying voice sounded the loudest at the table.

I joined them and sat quietly beside Alexander. I mean, that was the only seat available.

However, why do I feel like this arrangement was planned by someone?

I looked up to the boy beside me, and I was stunned to see he was looking back at me.

He leaned forward, then signalled me to lean closer to him. I frowned and shook my head frantically, but he smiled and made a gesture for me to move closer.

I bit my lips hard in frustration and obeyed him.

“You do not like my little arrangement?” He whispered, and I flinched from how his lips brushed against my ear.

“You know damn well that I hate it,” I forced my words through clenched teeth.

He chuckled beside me, then leaned forward until his lips were kissing my earlobe, “You have my permission,”

Huh?

What permission?

I frowned and was about to move away when he grabbed my left hand from under the table and placed it on his lap.

My eyes went wide in shock, and I moved my attention to my parents and stepbrothers. Strangely, they weren't paying any attention to either of us and were busy talking about something.

“What are you doing?” I gritted my teeth, my heart pounding heavily against my ribcage. If one of them turned their head in our direction, I do not think I'll be able to explain myself.

"You have my permission anytime you want access…" he said, his voice dangerously low as he guided my hand to a place I dared not name, "to your rightful seat.”

“Enough!” I sprang up on my feet and accidentally kicked some plates away.

I clenched my hands hard and tried my best not to look at my stunned parents and step-siblings.

Alexander was surprised by my outburst and then smiled.

“What's wrong, child?” My stepfather, Richard, asked, then he snapped his finger. A maid rushed out from the kitchen and quickly cleared the table.

“N-nothing Step…Sir…En…Dad?” I stuttered incoherently, and I bit my lips in embarrassment. I lowered my head in shame and slowly melted back into my seat.

I couldn't look at my mother in the eyes.

“Haha, it looks like Alicia still hasn't gotten used to the family,” Richard laughed, and my mother's stiff laughter followed shortly.

'God… I hate this…’ I screamed internally.

I turned my head to Alexander and cursed at him.

1 hour after dinner.

I stared at my reflection on the table and sighed heavily. I couldn't eat because of what happened, and now it feels like there are hundreds of soldiers fighting in my stomach.

“Children, your mum and I have an important announcement to make,” Richard said, clearing his throat. I glanced up and noticed that everyone's eyes were on me.

“I'm listening, Father,” I smiled, trying very hard to hide my nervousness.

He nodded, satisfied, then said, “Your mother and I are going on a month-long trip to London for our honeymoon. We couldn't enjoy it cause of Alicia…’’ He smiled.

“Me?”

“No, no, dear.” My mother quickly answered. “I was worried that you won't fit in and have friends, and it looks like I've been worried for nothing.” She smiled, and I noticed the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes.

“My baby girl has grown up,” She said, almost crying.

“Mum,” I blinked in confusion.

“So… that's why we will be away for a month.” Richard sighed heavily and raised his hand to coax my mum.

“Alexander and my boys will stay behind and entertain you, Alicia. If you need anything at all… You can meet them.” He smiled. “I trained my boys to be gentlemen…’’

What? No!

These triplets, gentlemen?

I forced my head up to look at each one of them, and they all had a playful smirk on their faces.

“Don't worry, Dad, our baby sis is in safe hands,” They smiled, and I almost fainted.

This is bad.

“But… when are you leaving, Dad?” Arnold asked, yawning a little.

It's true. I must prepare myself for their departure. Also, we must invite them to school tomorrow.

Ah! I forgot to tell them I got expelled too.

“We're leaving tonight,’’

Alicia’s POVMy eyes widened when I saw Alex standing here and backing me. Ricko and that bitch, Briana had brought me here and they locked me up in a box at the side of the house. I was tied in such a way I could only sit and not move my body, and I was muzzled. “Hmm,” I groaned as I tried to shake but I couldn’t, but I could still see him from a little hole in the cage. Then I noticed someone sneaking up behind him. Briana. “A–” I struggled to call him, but I couldn’t. Tears rolled down my eyes when I saw that she had a gun and she placed it behind his head. He turned slowly, shocked. “Briana?” he called, shocked. “Hi,” Baby, she said, wearing a smirk. “I knew you would come, so I was waiting for you.” She circled him slowly. “I’ve missed you, she said as she trailed the gun from his chest down to his groin. “Get down on your knees,” she growled.Alex crossed his brows. “No, bitch. They were mute so I knew that was a no. “She wasn’t looking too well, so why didn’t you boy check on her?” I asked. Then I rolled my eyes, heading out and they came out with me. “I knew you boys could do nothing without my guidance.”Adrian’s jaw dropped. “What are you saying? I would have gone to meet her if you didn’t–” He pursed his lips and

Adrian sighed. “Don’t be a kill joy, Alicia. Hasn’t it been a while?” He asked as he hugged me from behind. I heaved a breath and pushed him off me.“I’ve been stressed a lot by this exam. I just want to rest, good night, guys.” Adrian stepped back with a frown, Alex was leaning against the wall. He raised a brow at me. “Are you sure you are okay?” I nodded and sat on the bed. “I would get some rest and then I would come down for dinner, okay?” I faked a smile and they nodded.Adrian kissed my forehead, Alex came and took my hand then he kissed it, followed by Arnold who cupped my face and boldly placed a kiss on my lips, I was mute and still. Alicia’s POVAlex, Mum and I were in the dining room, our appetites were gone and we weren’t eating anymore. Mum paced around worried. Dad and Adrian had rushed out to go save Arnold from doing anything stupid. “I hope they find him on time, before he makes a mistake that would ruin his life,” Mum prayed with both her hands together. Soon, Dad stormed into the house, Arnold followed him, wearing all black with a black burglar's mask on. Adrian entered last. “Oh, you are back,” Mum gasped as she ran to them. “Arnold, what were you thinking?” Mum asked him.Arnold took off his mask, ran his hand through his hair and went to sit on the cough next to him. “I had no option. I told Dad to give me time, so I would get the money, but he refused.” Mum gasped and turned to Dad. “Wasn’t that what he came to tell you last night?”Dad nodded, paced around and then he went to the dining room and took a glass of water. “I should have listened. Dad is unbelievable,” Arnold growled as he stormed in. He dropped on the bed and ran his hand into his hair. “It didn’t work. We have to find a way to work on plan B.”I sighed as I looked up to see Alex nodding at him. “I should probably go now,” I said to them. I had no desire to be a part of their plans. How would Arnold rob a bank? I didn’t wait for their responses, but I turned and left. I got to my room and dropped on the bed, stared at the ceiling until I slept off. The next morning was a weekend. I didn’t do much outside on weekends except to read my books– now that the next day was our exams, I had to stay locked in. The maids usually brought my breakfast and lunch up for me. I only get to eat dinner together with the family. I stayed in my
