Alicia's POV

“Where are you going?” Alexander's cold voice rang out from behind me, and I felt the blood in my veins boil.

“Home!” I yelled, stomping my feet as I stormed down the street.

“Oh? Is that so?” He continued, and I clenched my hands tightly. I paused in my tracks and spun around quickly.

“What has gotten into… ouch!” I yelped in pain after my head hit a hard wall.

Come on! Why are they always aiming at my head?!

“Are you okay?” His hot breath on my neck, and I didn't think straight again. I blankly stared at his uniform, and that was when I noticed how close we were.

I pushed him away, but I was the one who got pushed. I lost my balance and almost crashed on the floor, but before I could do that, his hand grabbed my waist and pulled me to him.

“I asked… if you were okay,” He added, this time his voice was low at a dangerous level. I gulped hard and slowly raised my head to look at his face.

He wasn't smiling.

His black eyes stared at mine, and I noticed how they emitted a soft hue. It must be from the mate bond, cause I can feel my wolf howling excitedly.

I gulped nervously as my eyes trailed down to his lips. They're so gorgeous.

I have never seen the triplets up close before.

He's so… beautiful.

I know guys don't like being called that, but that's the only word I can think of right now.

“There's a hotel nearby,” He whispered in a low tone.

“I know,” I said dreamily.

“We can book one tonight…’’ He continued, his voice sounding dangerously low and toxic.

“Mm…” I nodded slowly, my eyes fixed on his lips that were slowly closing the space between us.

“..and you and I will mate all night,” He groaned, moved his head sideways and kissed my neck.

“Ye-WHAT?!” I snapped out of my trance and pulled myself away from him.

What the fuck?!

I softly slapped my face twice, then glared at him.

He straightened his back, tucked his hands deep into his hoodie's pockets, and pretended like nothing had happened.

I bit the inside of my mouth hard and moved my gaze away from him.

‘Damn it!’ I cursed when I saw the pedestrian walking around us.

I rolled my bag down my arm and used it to shield my face.

This is very bad!

“I hate you!”

I stomped my feet and ran away.

“That's not the way back home, Alicia!” Alexander's voice rang behind me, and I almost stumbled on the floor from embarrassment.

I'm not familiar with the streets yet.

.

.

.

“Ughhh, someone should please kill me!” I threw my bag away and crashed on my bed.

“Ughhh!” I screamed into my pillow and kicked my feet in the air.

Damn you Alex!

I screamed for who knows when, before I finally calmed down.

I rolled onto my back and stared at the ceiling. Everywhere was quiet, as if I were the only person in this world.

“Tomorrow… mum and dad will attend the meeting.” I muttered, my voice trailing off at the ‘dad’ part.

If only he were still alive.

My eyes slowly closed as I went through a memory lane, one that was buried deeply in my heart.

“I will forever miss him,” I added, and slowly, everything went blank.

“ALICIA COME DOWNSTAIRS FOR DINNER”

“Ah! Who is it? Who broke into the house?!” My eyes snapped open, and before I could register what was going on, my forehead had already slammed the cold floor.

“Ughh,” I winched as pain shot through me. I raised my head and gently rubbed the spot.

“I can't feel my forehead again,” I moan, feeling numb.

“Alicia?!” My mum's voice shook my eardrums, and I groaned in frustration.

“I'll be downstairs in a minute, mum!”

I sprang to my feet, entered the bathroom, came out, and wore a fresh dress. I picked up my phone and noticed it was late in the evening.

I locked the door behind me and rushed downstairs.

“Is that what happened? Damn, you did it good Alex,” Arnold's annoying voice sounded the loudest at the table.

I joined them and sat quietly beside Alexander. I mean, that was the only seat available.

However, why do I feel like this arrangement was planned by someone?

I looked up to the boy beside me, and I was stunned to see he was looking back at me.

He leaned forward, then signalled me to lean closer to him. I frowned and shook my head frantically, but he smiled and made a gesture for me to move closer.

I bit my lips hard in frustration and obeyed him.

“You do not like my little arrangement?” He whispered, and I flinched from how his lips brushed against my ear.

“You know damn well that I hate it,” I forced my words through clenched teeth.

He chuckled beside me, then leaned forward until his lips were kissing my earlobe, “You have my permission,”

Huh?

What permission?

I frowned and was about to move away when he grabbed my left hand from under the table and placed it on his lap.

My eyes went wide in shock, and I moved my attention to my parents and stepbrothers. Strangely, they weren't paying any attention to either of us and were busy talking about something.

“What are you doing?” I gritted my teeth, my heart pounding heavily against my ribcage. If one of them turned their head in our direction, I do not think I'll be able to explain myself.

"You have my permission anytime you want access…" he said, his voice dangerously low as he guided my hand to a place I dared not name, "to your rightful seat.”

“Enough!” I sprang up on my feet and accidentally kicked some plates away.

I clenched my hands hard and tried my best not to look at my stunned parents and step-siblings.

Alexander was surprised by my outburst and then smiled.

“What's wrong, child?” My stepfather, Richard, asked, then he snapped his finger. A maid rushed out from the kitchen and quickly cleared the table.

“N-nothing Step…Sir…En…Dad?” I stuttered incoherently, and I bit my lips in embarrassment. I lowered my head in shame and slowly melted back into my seat.

I couldn't look at my mother in the eyes.

“Haha, it looks like Alicia still hasn't gotten used to the family,” Richard laughed, and my mother's stiff laughter followed shortly.

'God… I hate this…’ I screamed internally.

I turned my head to Alexander and cursed at him.

.

.

.

1 hour after dinner.

I stared at my reflection on the table and sighed heavily. I couldn't eat because of what happened, and now it feels like there are hundreds of soldiers fighting in my stomach.

“Children, your mum and I have an important announcement to make,” Richard said, clearing his throat. I glanced up and noticed that everyone's eyes were on me.

“I'm listening, Father,” I smiled, trying very hard to hide my nervousness.

He nodded, satisfied, then said, “Your mother and I are going on a month-long trip to London for our honeymoon. We couldn't enjoy it cause of Alicia…’’ He smiled.

“Me?”

“No, no, dear.” My mother quickly answered. “I was worried that you won't fit in and have friends, and it looks like I've been worried for nothing.” She smiled, and I noticed the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes.

“My baby girl has grown up,” She said, almost crying.

“Mum,” I blinked in confusion.

“So… that's why we will be away for a month.” Richard sighed heavily and raised his hand to coax my mum.

“Alexander and my boys will stay behind and entertain you, Alicia. If you need anything at all… You can meet them.” He smiled. “I trained my boys to be gentlemen…’’

What? No!

These triplets, gentlemen?

I forced my head up to look at each one of them, and they all had a playful smirk on their faces.

“Don't worry, Dad, our baby sis is in safe hands,” They smiled, and I almost fainted.

This is bad.

“But… when are you leaving, Dad?” Arnold asked, yawning a little.

It's true. I must prepare myself for their departure. Also, we must invite them to school tomorrow.

Ah! I forgot to tell them I got expelled too.

“We're leaving tonight,’’

Adrian cupped my neck and kissed me in the lips, my eyes bulged out and I pushed him off. “Not in front of them,” I whispered to him.Mum smiled. “It’s fine.”

At this point, my heart was in my throat. “Maybe we should use our car to take him to the hospital. I’m freaking out.” Just then we heard the siren sound of the ambulance. It was approaching in the distance. “There it is, it’s coming!!” I yelled almost jumping. I faced Alex, his eyes were dim.“You’ll be fine, okay? The ambulance is here and it will get you to hospital soon, you’ll be fine.”He smiled. “I hope. I’m not healing, Alicia. It is sil–ver,” as his voice broke and he struggled to talk, I saw his tongue was turning purple. My eyes bulged out as I took his hand. “You are Alex, you can go through anything and I know that you will survive this too.”He grinned. “I love you.” “I lo–” my words were cut short when nurses flocked out to the ambulance and rushed him off the stretcher and carr

Alicia’s POVI winked at Adrian and Alex who were pretending to be fighting. I rushed to the door and opened it up. She rushed in and saw Adrian throwing a fist at Alex that he dodged. “What are you both fighting for?” She screamed. Alex pushed Adrian against the wall and started to punch him in the stomach and then Adrian pushed Alex to Briana, and he fell on her, sending her to the floor. She pushed Alex off and ran away holding her leg. “Ouch!!!” She cried and I winked at Alex and Adrian as I rushed after her. “What’s wrong with them?” she asked as she breathed out heavily in the hallway. I sighed. “They had been fighting because Alex blamed me for the loss of your pup.”Briana paused, realizing she did act like someone who just lost a pup. She reached for her stomach as she bent over. I raised a brow watching her act in her drama. “Oh my goodness.” She cried out. “It was so painful, Alicia.”I nodded and parted her back. “You will be fine, I promise you that.” I touched her sho

Alicia's POV“Guys, please stop fighting.” I said as I tried to push Adrian away. Adrian didn’t move an inch, he was infuriated and ready to fight Alex. Goddess, I didn’t bargain for this drama- not after all I heard Briana say outside. That wretch was the cause of all these problems. I would make her pay, she would regret coming into our lives. “I don’t want to fight you, Adrian,” Alexs said. His head tilted a bit as he stared at me from behind Adrian. He tried to touch Adrian’s shoulder but Adrian shoved his hand off. “Don’t touch me with your filthy hand. Get out of this room and go meet your baby mama.” Alex gritted his teeth as rage flashed through his eyes. Why did his mood change suddenly at the mention of Briana, his baby mama?I had never seen that reaction from him before. What was going on? It was not anger towards Adrian and I but anger towards– Briana. It was like he was irritated at the mention of her name.“Adrian, I don’t want to fight with you– let me talk to Alicia

Alex's POV“I have to see Briana,” I uttered, parking my car. I nearly jumped out of the car after opening the door. I came home later than the others, because I stopped at the hospital to get some drugs for Briana.I reached the sitting room, Dad was seated on the sofa, with a magazine in his hand. “Good afternoon, Dad.” I greeted him as I passed.“Alex,” he called me. I halted. “Where are you going?” He asked. I raised the drugs I bought that were in a bag with a boldly printed hospital written on it. “Isn’t it obvious? Briana was hurt, so I went to get her some drugs. I am taking these to her.” I finished and turned to leave.“Stop it, Alex.” he stood up, and I paused again, my shoulder dropping. “What are you going to say again?” I asked. “Ermm. Give me that. Go to your room and I will come see you there.”I turned to him. “What?” I asked. “Why?” He looked away from me. A pang struck my chest and I went two steps closer to him. “Is Briana okay?” He smiled. “Yes, she is.” He rea
