“It's Saturday!” I exclaim excitedly on the bed, and Lucas chuckles.

He is still beside me, his arm draped lazily over my waist, his body pressed into mine like he belongs there… like he was always meant to be there.

“Why are you so excited that it's Saturday?” He asks me.

“Because it's my favorite day of the week,” I reply, smiling at him.

“Why?”

“There's not much responsibility, no classes,” I reply. “It's just like my resting day…. just me in my room, lazing around all day!”
