The dare

~ELENA~“We dare you to kiss him.”That was how the night started uphill or downhill depending on how you look at it.*** I twirl and twist my hips dancing to the loud beat thumping through the club, completely lost in the music.Valentina and Gianna, my best friends, and partners-in-chaos, are giggling loudly beside me, and dancing to the music like no one is watching. It's our first proper girls night out in years, as we haven't seen each other for a while now.I just returned back to the country, Italy, because mom finally decided to move in with her new husband, and I decided to hang out with my girls at the club because I couldn't think of a better way to catch up with them.Besides, I also want to forget about Alessandro, my ex boyfriend who I caught cheating on me. He broke up with me after I caught him cheating and blamed me for finding out.Pathetic, right??And now, I just want to have all the fun I can to forget about him.“Oh my!!” Valentina suddenl

An intense make out

~ELENA~“We're not done yet. We only just started” the stranger says and pulls me closer to him, then bent his head and kisses me fiercely.I hear Valentina and Gianna gasp behind me. His lips are voracious, taking everything I have to give, and even demanding even more.My body starts to burn and crack so hot, even hotter than the last time I kissed Alessandro. What is he doing to me??I am melting. My God, I am melting and I want so much more.I feel myself sliding into him and my traitorous arms steal up and around his neck.He is stroking a fire in me. Something I can not even begin to control.I have been possessed by some primitive urge, something hot and molten which needed nothing so much as to feel the touch of his skin against mine.He stops kissing me and before I can say a word, he pulls my hand.“Come with me.”I don't even think twice. I started to go with him.“Elena” I hear Gianna whisper my name.I turn back to wink at them while they stare at

Moving into a new house

~ELENA~I sit up slowly, my legs still trembling, my breath shallow, and my body a hazy mess of tingling sensation and exhaustion. What just happened??My skin is still flushed, and my cheeks are burning–not from shame, but from the memory of how that stranger thoroughly wrecked me.I glance around the room, half expecting him to walk back in and say something…anything. But he doesn't. He's really gone.He didn't ask for my name or digits before leaving.I don't even know his name too.I exhale deeply and finally peel myself off the bed, walking…no, wobbling…towards my dress on the floor. My red panties are still around my knees. I pull them up first and wince as the fabric brushes my over sensitive skin. Then I slip into the red dress and smooth it down, adjusting it over my curves. My hair is a mess and my lipstick is all but gone, and my lips are a little swollen. I look like I have just been ravished.Because I have!I stand in front of the mirror for a se

Which of the triplets??

~ELENA~I try to school my expression but I'm frozen at the base of the mansion steps, staring like a complete idiot.Triplets.My new stepbrothers are goddamn triplets. And I made out with one of them. One of them.My brain short circuits.Yes, they're identical, but they're not the same. The one on the left wears a black suit like he's born in it. He doesn't smile. Don't blink. Just watch me with cold, expressionless eyes. The one in the middle is all tattoos and smirks, like he knows he's trouble but enjoys it. A silver ring glints in his ear as he tilts his head. The last one lingers at the top of the steps, arms crossed, quiet. Then his expression softens. One of them is the mystery man who rocked my world last night, but which one??“You must be Elena. I'm Nico,” the tattooed one says, striding towards me with a lazy grin.“That's Vincenzo…Enzo for short” he gestures to the one in the suit. “And the other one is Riccardo.”They're all staring.I grip m

A confused Elena

~ELENA~ Nico stretches out on my reading nook like he owns it. One leg propped up, his shirt still half unbuttoned, and that smug devastating grin playing on his lips.I lean against the doorframe, arms crossed.“You always make yourself this comfortable in a girl's room?” I ask.He shrugs, unbothered. “Only when the girl looks like she's dying to ask me to stay.”I scoff.“In your dreams.”“Oh sweetheart…” he glances at me through those thick lashes. “You've already been in my dreams.”My cheeks burn. This man is impossible.I walk past him, pretending not to care and sit at the edge of the bed.“You're always this flirty with your stepsisters??” I ask.“That's when she's beautiful and sexy as hell” he murmurs. He clicks his tongue.“You're not really my sister. Not by blood. Not by bond. And definitely not by heart.”He leans forward. “So I don't see you as my stepsister.”He stands, then begins prowling around the room like he's been here before. He taps t

Their sexy bodies

~ELENA~A loud knock on the door startles me awake in the morning.I groan softly.I don't like being woken up from sleep.I like to sleep and wake up by myself.Groggy and still tangled in my sheets, I sit up with a confused frown.Who is knocking??Sunlight is peeking through the curtains, and my phone says it's just five minutes past seven. The knock comes again, this time followed by a familiar voice.“Elena,” Nico calls. “Get your pretty ass up. We're going to the gym” I blink, still half-asleep.Gym??I drag myself to the door and open it, only to be greeted by Nico wearing a very clean white singlet, and a pair of low hanging black sweatpants and a grin that should be illegal this early in the morning.“I don't recall signing up for torture this morning” I grumble, rubbing my eyes.He chuckles.“Com'on little dove, Riccardo and Vincenzo are downstairs already.”I roll my eyes.“Okay, fine. Being fit isn't a bad idea after all” I say.“Exactly” he murmur

Temptation at the gym

~ELENA~“You like what you see?” Nico whispers in my ears.I step back immediately.“I wasn't…”“You were,” he tosses me a water bottle. “It's okay. I'd stare at me too.”I catch it with a glare, but my heart is racing.Working out beside them is a form of psychological torture.I walk to the treadmill and try to focus on the treadmill, but Nico decides to get on the one next to mine, walking in sync beside me, shirt still nowhere in sight. He leans over, whispering, “I could train you personally, you know. One-on-one sessions. Very hands-on.”“You're distracting,” I mumble. He chuckles. “That's kind of the point.”I steal a glance at Vincenzo again. Still ignoring me. He hasn't given me attention since yesterday I got here and I hate it. I love attention. He is still pounding that bag like it owes him something. And Riccardo is on the bench press now, his muscles rippling as he exhales with each lift.God, how are they all this attractive??And why did I agree

They're just your stepbrothers

~ELENA~“You're a princess, my princess to be precise, and need to be treated as one” Riccardo says.I blink twice.Coming from Riccardo??Woww. What is up with these brothers??“Ummm…” I stammer, seeking for an escape. “Let me just take the plates to the sink. I need to keep my hands busy.”And before he can say anything again, I quickly snatch the plate and walk quickly into the kitchen, my heart thudding wildly.I place the dish under the running water, trying to focus on the sound of it splashing rather than Riccardo's voice echoing in my ear.I begin to rinse my plate when I hear a soft call from behind.“Elena?”I turn and see her…my mom.She walks into the kitchen in her robe, looking elegant and fresh as always. Her hair is pinned up, and her makeup is minimal, but perfect.“Good morning mom,” I greet her.We don't have a good mother-daughter relationship, so things can be awkward between us.“Did you sleep well??” She asks, reaching for a glance of o

What exactly is Vincenzo hiding??

~ELENA~“Are you just going to stand there and stare at me with that cold look on your face, or will you tell me why you're here?” I ask, finally tired of the staring competition. His eyes darkened. He's wearing a white shirt and black trousers.“You're coming with me” he finally says.I blink.“Excuse me??”“Dad wants us to drop off some papers downtown. Nico is sleeping. Riccardo is out” he pauses, eyes flicking over me. “You're the only one left.”This explains why he's here.I am right after all.He doesn't want to be here. He's forced by his dad. This explains the expressions on his face.“Right, of course,” I mutter. “Because I'm just…convenient.”He doesn't answer. Just turns on his heels and walks down the hall like I'll follow. And annoyingly, I do.***The car ride is quiet. Tense. Charged. He doesn't play music. He doesn't look at me.He drives like everything is under his control. Including me.“Do you ever relax?” I ask finally. His jaw tenses. “Why

The man at the club

~ELENA~From his actions, it's clear he's hiding something or avoiding something. But what exactly is it???What exactly is Vincenzo hiding??My chest tightens, but I start to turn towards the door. But then…“Baby doll,” he says.Soft.Too soft. But I hear it.Clear as thunder.I stop walking. The nickname wraps around my spine like a jolt. My breath catches. No one else has ever called me that. Not once in my life.Only him. Only that guy.Slowly, I turn back around to face him.He looks like he wants to swallow the word back. Like he didn't mean to say it. Like it slipped. And maybe it did.But the damage is already done.I stare at him, eyes wide.“You just called me…”He closes his eyes briefly, as if he's in pain.“I shouldn't have…”“It was you..” I say, stepping toward him. “At the club. You kissed me. You knew it was me the whole time, didn't you??”“Yes,” he reply. “How can I forget you?”“Why did you act like you didn't know me?” I ask, still in disbel
