Chapter 25: Regret

The housekeeper took Ann to Ann's bedroom in the past. Hans Graham was waiting in there. Some of Ann's belongings seemed to have been packed in large boxes in rows. Some of the boxes were still unsealed and half empty.

"Hello, Ann. Please, sit down," said Hans Graham, patting the surface of the bed right next to him. The photo album he was referring to was in his hand. He was flipping through the photo album when Ann came into the room.

Hans Graham's face looked tired, and there were light dark circles around his eyes. His hair was messy, and his clothes looked miserable. He didn't look like the Hans Graham that Ann used to know. Hans' brown eyes and tawny hair were gloomy. Even so, his good looks were still visible.
