Chapter 12

Molly fell into complete shock after hearing what he said.

‘Bumping into him intentionally? Getting his attention? Swapping the luggage?’

‘Wait... Luggage?’

‘Could this man be Sean Anderson?’

Molly finally understood what was going on. She was so mad she could only laugh, and she said, “Do you really think that I made so many coincidences just to get close to you?”

“Am I wrong?”

Sean squinted and spoke in a sarcastic tone.

Molly responded without holding back, “Of course not! I didn’t even know who you were before I came back here! I only knew about your existence after looking at the agreement in the luggage... Everything was merely coincidental. Mr. Anderson, I hope you can stop thinking so highly of yourself for a moment!

“However, I’d still have to thank you for what you did for my child.”

Molly spoke firmly and did not look pretentious at all.

But Sean did not trust her anyway.

He refused to believe that everything just happened by chance!

“Did I think highly of myself, or did you have other intentions?”

Molly really wanted to roll her eyes. “I’m sorry. Not every woman is interested in marrying into a wealthy family. Not me, at least. I don’t care if you believe me or not.”

She shifted the topic after saying those words. “I’ve found my kid now. We’ll leave if there’s nothing else.”

She was about to leave with three of her kids then.

The three little ones started to fluster upon seeing that.

How did things turn out like this?

It was totally different from what they had imagined!

Tony had no intention of letting them leave at all, so he stopped them right away. “Ms. May, you guys can’t leave before we sort everything out.”

They were still a lot of women who approached his boss even though he was injured.

Worse still, some malicious people even wanted to take his life.

He could never let this type of people get away!

Molly saw what he was doing and frowned uncontrollably as she said, “What? You don’t believe me? Do you want me to show you my plane ticket and I.D? This is the first day I came back to visit my family. I was staying overseas all this while. Do I have to prove everything to you?”

She was a straightforward person, and she did not want to explain any further. She then took out every identification and document from her bag and handed it to Tony.

“Go ahead and see for yourself. You can do anything with me if you found out that I lied about anything that I've said”

Tony hesitated but took them over to check anyway.

It took him some time to make sure that nothing was wrong with her. He then turned to Sean and nodded.

Claudia noticed that the atmosphere was very tense, so she said, “Uncle handsome, we really just reached here. We’ve been living overseas previously... I’m sorry. I did not follow you on purpose. I only did it because I thought you looked a lot like my daddy. My brothers and I have always dreamed of having a daddy since we never had one.”

Molly and Sean were both shocked by what she said.

Molly did not expect that that was the reason her child followed this man, so she could not help but feel bitter.

Sean was at a loss of words at that moment too.

He decided to hold himself back and let them go after seeing the little girl’s pitiful face. “Go ahead and leave...,” he spoke.

He turned to look at Molly and said, “I hope that what you said was true, that you are not looking to gain anything from me!”

After hearing what he said, Molly took a deep look at him and said, “Don’t worry. To me, there’s really nothing for me to gain from you at all! As for you, Mr. Anderson... you are the one who’s trying to gain something from me!”

If she remembered correctly, he still needed her to treat his legs.

Sean sneered and said, “Do you even have anything that I want?”

Molly lifted her brows as the edge of her lips curled. She responded profoundly, “Is that so? You’d better be right! I hope that you’ll remember what you said today!”

Molly started to collect her things after saying that. She then turned around and looked at Tony. “If you have the time, please follow me back to my room to take your luggage back.”
