“Is she… pregnant?”

“Why did she come to school in such a state?”

The students whispered to each other as they looked at Sofia, who walked in front of them with slow and heavy steps. 

Her face was pale and her stomach was protruding as she searched for someone. 

Sofia turned a deaf ear to the surrounding gossip. 

The only thing on her mind was to look for Alex. 

As she walked along the corridor, she finally saw him near the locker room. 

She mustered up herself and walked over. 

“Alex,” she called out from behind. 

Alex turned around and saw Sofia, his eyes constricting slightly.
