"Are we going on an adventure?" Nicole slurred, grinning like a cheshire cat. The alcohol was making her mind spin, not seeing anything clearly."We're going home," Jason muttered dryly, not amused by her drunk state. The five of them walked out of the party, Nicole leaning against Logan as he helped her get to the car since she couldn't walk straight."But what about my favourite rocket ship?" She frowned, not even sure what she was saying."It's getting repaired," Logan replied grimly, grinning a little because he hadn't seen Nicole drunk like this before."Foreal man?" Jason asked in disbelief, giving him an odd look."You never crush a drunk girls dreams," Logan shrugged casually.Jason scoffed."But I can't go home!" Nicole exclaimed. "Mommy's going to cut my arm into ten pieces and eat it and daddy's going to kill you!" She pointed to Jason. Her eyes widened with fear as she thought about how her mother would react to seeing her this drunk."Why me?" Jason asked with his eyebrow
Nicole woke up, confused, angry, mad, lost, more confused and feeling like a dead rat. Her head was pounding with a killer headache, she felt like she was going to vomit out her organs and her whole body felt sore. She never felt more deadly. Her head felt like someone had placed boulders on top of it while continuously hitting her with a sledge hammer. Basically, it was dreadful. Nicole attempted to open her eyes, squinting as she tried to sit up. Her attempt failed as she placed her head back down. After a few minutes of laying there with her eyes shut, she finally managed to open them, looking around in confusion. "Where the hell..." she muttered, her voice coming our raspy as her throat felt dry. Nicole sat up to see that Seth's head was placed on her lap, may I add that she was still just in the oversized sweatshirt and her undergarments. Her feet were resting on Asher's legs while his head was down on her bare legs. Parker was sprawled on the ground. Half of Jason's body h
"Those guys are...""Stupid?" Nicole offered, finishing Asher's thoughts for him as he had started to trail off, not being able to find the right word.Asher chuckled. "I'd go for strange." He glanced at her and grinned softly."How so?" she quirked an eyebrow at which Asher shrugged at."I don't know," he tilted his head in thought. "I mean, they seem nice but then you all argue so much. At the same time, they care about you. It's confusing.""Care about me?" Nicole shook her head, scoffing. She was surprised he thought that and found it a little funny. "Please, that's the last thing they'd do.""No, I'm pretty sure they do." Asher nodded."And why would you say that?" She inquired, narrowing her eyes lightly. She didn't understand what would make him think that because she didn't buy it for a second."I don't know," he shrugged once again. "I can tell they do... whether they deny it or not. It's not exactly hard to see.""How?""Well, for starters, when none of us could find you at
"Hey, Nicole!" Celia greeted as she leaned against the locker beside Nicole's while Nicole got her things out."Hey Lia," Nicole smiled."I heard about your little Elvis performance on Friday night," Celia smirked. "Oh, and about your beer pong skills."Nicole cringed. "That wasn't me. It was drunken me."Celia chuckled."Oh, Asher told me about how Emma pushed you into the pool and then denied it too, man she's so low." Celia sighed."Yeah, but it's whatever," Nicole shrugged as she looked down to see that she was wearing Asher's sweatshirt causing her cheeks to tinge pink.Celia raised an eyebrow as she noticed Nicole blushing and then the sweatshirt. "Is that- oh my god!" She squealed."What?" Nicole mustered."That's Asher's!" She grinned as she pointed to the sweatshirt.Nicole groaned as she slid the sweatshirt off leaving her in her tight black v-neck she word underneath. "I was only wearing it so I could return it to him," she rolled her eyes.Celia scoffed. "Yet you couldn't
"Hey Asher!" Nicole called out as she saw him walking down the hall.Asher turned around as he saw Nicole was talking to him, giving her a smile as he made his way over to her by her locker."What's up?""Uh, I have your sweatshirt," she told him awkwardly, shifting on her feet.Asher chuckled. "You can keep it, no worries. I gotta find coach real quick but I'll see you at lunch," he told her, before quickly waving and jogging off to the gym. Nicole sighed and then shrugged before making her way to the gym herself.Just as she had reached the gym, Asher walked out."Hey, what are you doing here?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion."Thought I'd just walk to the caf with you," she shrugged. Asher chuckled, nodding as the two made their way to the cafeteria."Woah, okay. What are they doing here?" Nicole asked in disbelief as she made her way to the table where she had sat with Chase and his friends."Hey, Jay, where did my chair go?""We don't want you to sit with us," Jason spa
Nicole spun around to the familiar voice to see Serena running over to her. She sighed as she stopped, waiting as he old friend jogged over to her. She had left the cafeteria and at the moment didn't really want to talk to anyone but right now, she couldn't just walk about from Serena - well she could, but knowing she should listen to what she has to say, she didn't."What?""I'm sorry."Nicole quirked an eyebrow.Serena sighed as she continued, "Im sorry I haven't been a good friend lately and I shouldn't have done what I did. I should have respected that you don't have to tell me everything but I didn't do that and you have all rights to be mad at me.. But.. I miss you."Nicole sighed as she slowly nodded her head. "It's okay, I may have over reacted a bit; I was just cranky."A wide smile grew on Serena's face as she pulled her friend in a big hug, squealing as Nicole scrunched her noes before relaxing and hugging back."What do you say, Starbucks after school?" Serena asked hopefu
Nicole laughed out loud, her head falling back as she hiccuped from laughing so much, not even caring that she was getting strange looks from people around her."See! I told you that story would make you laugh!" Serena exclaimed as she had told Nicole a story about her uncle.Nicole nodded, starting to calm down as she took a sip of her expresso that was placed on the table in front of her as the two girls sat in a local coffee shop."So," Serena cleared her throat. "What's going on between you and all those guys?"Nicole slowly calmed her breathing from all the laughing as she leaned back in her chair."Nothing," she shrugged. "And I don't exactly what to talk about it. Ditching school was part of my way into avoiding them and now that I have achieved that, I prefer not to talk about them." She told her, calmly.Serena slowly nodded. "I understand.. But sometimes it helps to let it all out."Nicole nodded. "Yeah, but I just don't want to talk about it,"Serena nodded, letting the sub
"Where even are we going?""Adventure first, explanations take a dreadful about of time.""What?" Nicole sputtered, not understanding Seth's oddly happy mood and sudden urge to go on an adventure."Life's a blank canvas and you need to throw all the paint on it, as you can." He shrugged, glancing at Nicole or a split second before looking at the road.Nicole blinked."Are you high?"Seth burst out laughing. "No!" He shook his head, a small grin playing on his lips. "What I mean is, there's no harm in taking an adventure,""Well, unless the dragon decides to burn your head off,""Dragon?" Seth asked, amused."It isn't an adventure worth telling if there aren't any dragons." Nicole told him."Makes sense," he shrugged."So where are we headed?" She asked once again, starting to grow anxious and impatient as she thought about all the places they could possibly be heading to."Patience,"Nicole groaned, leaning her head against the window as she did as he said ; she was patient.❀A short
