In between the serious conversation that Dasha, Nicholas and I were having, Rachel suddenly came from the direction of the gate driving my car.

She could be seen gasping for breath as she got out of the car, sweat dripping down her face.

Seeing her coming, I grunted harshly and glanced sideways. I remembered what he had done in the video recording earlier. It was enough to make me angry and disappointed at what Rachel was doing behind my back.

I studied her face, so tense at the presence of Dasha and Nicholas. Maybe he was also wondering what the purpose of their arrival was, especially since Dasha was the person he hated the most.

"Alpha Edmon, I'm sorry I left without your permission," Rachel said with a ragged breath, as if she was scared.

"You should have known I was leaving, and you should have asked permission to leave the pack," I scolded her.
