POV Lance
I awoke on the floor with my head hammering. I opened my eyes but quickly shut them with a wince, trying to remember how I had ended up like this. Suddenly, it all came rushing back. The attack, the gas, Samantha! I shot up as I opened my eyes, no longer caring about my pain. I looked around to see Troy and Creed on either side of me. I looked behind me to where I had last seen Samantha and only spotted Stacy. I felt my stomach drop as I frantically searched around the room.
I was the first one to wake but Creed and Troy soon were groaning. Creed came out of the stupor quicker and he jumped up and looked at me wildly.

POV SamanthaAfter an hour or so, I got up off the bed and went to the food tray. I sighed trying to decide if I could trust Shimon or not. POV LanceI knelt down behind a bush as I kept my eyes on Alpha Jack, waiting for his signal. Samantha was supposed to link him just as the ceremony was starting so we could make our move.
