Her words were soft and adorned with emotions. For the first time, she wanted to ask something from him and this made Gabrielle feel wanted.

He would be glad to give her anything. And anything means, anything...

Tucking a few strings of hair behind her ear, he caressed there with the back of his hand and nodded. "Anything, little bird. Tell me, what do you want?" He asked.

Locking their eyes together, Clasping her hand around his neck, Scarlett tiptoed and pulled him down, she answered him by pressing a kiss on his warm lips.

Gabrielle gasped inwardly at her sudden act. He has thought of many things that she could ask for in just a few seconds but not this!

Mostly, he thought she would ask for his private help in the project, which she didn't, and completely surprised him with the kiss. All the while making him more attracted to her.

Gabrielle was surprised at first but then pleasure engulfed him, appeasing his soul.
