Chapter 6
Ares was walking back and forth in front of his bed, scratching his head with the tip of a pen. The scene from last night inside his room with Luna was still jumbling in his mind. He should be thinking of a plan in response to what happened yesterday at the Monaco mansion, but his mind was giving him clear flashbacks of Luna's lips. Her soft body, her silky hair, and how she blushed!
"Goddamnit!" He was perplexed as he threw punches in the air.
When he stepped out of the shower last night, his gaze was drawn to the woman who was tiptoeing her way out, and he found himself scolding her instead of simply letting her out peacefully so that the incident should never have happened.
He closed his eyes and sighed deeply before dialing his phone, attempting to think calmly. His uncle was correct. He should be paying attention to what is more important. And a distraction like this will only harm his plans.

The beam of light from the sunrise woke me up as it peeked through my window, giving me a little push to open my eyes. I could hear the sound of the ocean's waves and the chirping of seabirds as they scoured for food from the outside.
