Part Of The Plan.

"Rory! Rory!!" Kay rushed into the class while yelling Rory's name.

Rory raised her eyebrow calmly sipping juice from a small juice box.

"You're so calm?! How can you be so calm,when the whole school thinks that you are a gold digger?!" Kay asked a little flustered and angry. How was she so calm?!

Rory just glanced at her and didn't say anything. It took longer than she expected. She knew that the only person who could spread this kind of rumor is her sister,Sammy. This morning's incident must have annoyed her. She has seen been through a lot of heart ache and torture,so why would such words affect her. She wasn't that squeamish. She had lived with Sammy for a long time and she was well aware of the right buttons to press and calling her an illegitmate child did the trick. This was all part of the main plan. Everything would soon be clear soon.

As Rory was unaffected,her classmates were not. They were all upset.

"How could people think that?" One person said with anger in his voice.

"People are so unreasonable!"

"We are going to make them pay!" Someone shouted and they all supported.

'No,no,don't make them pay! If you do my plan will be ruined before it even began!" Rory complained in her heart.

"Let's not do that. If we say anything to defend her it'll only add fuel to the fire. They'll think that it is actually true". A boy with blonde hair,who was Terrence,said reasonably noticing Rory's clear disapproval in her eyes.

'Thank you!' Rory expressed her gratitude in her heart.

"But we can't just sit back and do nothing?" Kay argued back.

"It's not doing nothing,it's just us being calm before the storm.

"Besides,we can't possibly silence public opinion? Why can't we just find the person spreading these rumors and let the person reap what he or she sowed". His word were wise.

'He really deserves the position of the smartest guy in class!" Rory was impressed.

And everything he said was actually very correct. He was indeed a friend worth keeping. At the end,they all agreed.

Rory was strolling in the school's courtyard with her hands in her skirt pocket,when she heard a cold voice say to her;

"You are not allowed to be here!" She stopped in her tracks and turned to look at the person who spoke. Surprisingly,it was Clara. Why was she even surprised? Only a foolish person like her would say something that foolish.

"Says who?" Rory retorted.

"Says me". She raised her chin arrogantly. Rory squinted her eyes and chuckled softly.

"Who are you?" Rory asked nonchalantly. Her response caused Clara to loose her cool.

"How dare you,a good for nothing, shameless gold digger,have the cheek to ask me who I am?!"

"So,you,are,not,allowed, here! Is that enough reason for you?" Clara said every word slowly.

"But I paid the same amount of money you did. That means if you can stay here then I can also be here too". Rory shook her head and didn't accept her dumb reasons.

"You have no shame! After selling your body to some old man,you claim to pay the same amount of money. Even if you did pay the same amount,there's a difference between our money and your money. Our money is gotten from sweat and hard work,from a right and legal source,while yours is gotten from some brothel". One of the girls that was Clara's minion spoke with a voice filled with pure contempt.

"Really?" Rory asked and her aura suddenly became dangerous,even Clara and her minion were startled by the quick change in auras. She kept quiet when Clara bullied her but if she let just anyone be rude to her,wasn't that degrading her status. She won't stand for it!

Just as she was about to give the girl a befitting reply, they all heard an elegant voice speak.

"It's better to not think too highly of yourself,especially when everyone knows what kind of lowly creature you are". Rory looked at the person and was shocked to see Terrence here. 'Why was he here?'

Terrance was very handsome,rich and was an A student. He was the full package. No one could simply resist him not even Clara herself. She smiled coyly and said smugly to Rory,"Did you hear that? The whole school knows what despicable thing you are!"

"So it's better to scram Rory!"

"I think you are mistaken". Terrance said with an unreadable smile.

"Mistake?" Clara asked a bit confused.

"Yes. I wasn't talking about Rory but you and your dog!" Terrance clarified the air. His black eyes were calm and his handsome face was expressionless.

Clara frowned upon hearing Terrance's words. Rory just stood there and watched the show with a smile on her face.

"What are you saying Terrence?" Clara immediately asked Terrence with a dark expression.

"The truth! We all know who your father was before he became a business man. Then how can you of all people dare point fingers at Rory?" Terrence questioned. Her father was a thug and was very poor. He did a lot of questionable things. However,he suddenly became rich overnight. Wasn't that suspicious?

Clara's face became as white as paper. Clara liked Terrence,but he never gave a face. Now the time he was actually talking to her,he was defending a pure nobody. Clara had a bad temper and was touchy.

"You witch! You clearly casted a spell on Terrence,that's why he is actually speaking in your favor!" Clara screamed at Rory with a vexed expression on her face.

Terrance's face became visibly dark.

What unreasonable person was this? He was clearly just standing up for what is right and she was busy saying he was under a spell. He was irked. He turned to look at Rory and saw she was calm. He stared at her with a complicated look. From beginning to end she had only spoken not more than 5 times. She didn't even look like she cared. Rory felt Terrance gaze on her and looked at him and their eyes met momentarily. It was just brief.
