Call the cops

The tears on her face kept rolling down as she looked at her grandmother's lifeless body on the old, shaky bed.

"Grandma?"She still called out hoping she'd get a response from the dead woman.

"Please don't go. You're all I have. Grandma please say something"Her voice became urgent as she held the woman's old, wrinkly, white hand.

Then she rested her head on the woman's belly as she always did after being tortuted by the Devanes. But the tears didn't stop, not even for a second. She cried silently.

"Rory" A soft voice called out. She felt a hand on her shoulders. She raised her head up to see Clarisse staring at her with so many emotions in her black eyes. Nervousness and anguish were the most prominent emotions.

She understood why she'd feel anguish, but nervous?

"Rory am so sorry."She said.

"It's not your fault Nana Clarisse"Rory said while she stood up to be at eye length with Clarisse.
