Fluttering

These babies moved a lot!

They weren’t kicking yet, but just moving around, getting all situated in my stomach I guess. It was amazing. It was just little flutters but they felt so big. I also imagined I had more fluttering than most considering I was carrying twins.

“You okay?” Skyler asked.

“Oh, yeah, more fluttering! These peanuts are moving around like crazy!”

“That’s so cool,” She smiled. “So pregnancy is…nice?”

“I mean it’s a pain sometimes, honestly. The back twinging and the sore boobs and wanting to fuck anything that breathes in my direction. Oh and not drinking! You’re so lucky you get to drink!”

“I hear that a lot.”

“Are you okay?” I questioned. “You seem off.”

She forced a smile to her face. “Oh yeah, of course. Just wedding stuff and all of that. I have a doctor’s appointment and it’s a lot, but nothing like what you’re going through.”

I rubbed my stomach. “Ugh doctor’s appointments have become my life! I swear I see Dr. Conner more than I see my boss.” I laughed.
