I looked over at Grayson to see if he was upset.

There was a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. “We’re having a little girl.”

I nodded. “Is that okay?”

“It’s perfect.” He hugged me. “It’s so fucking perfect.”

He let me go and I turned and hugged Lee.

“This is everything I’ve ever wanted,” Lee whispered. “You and a beautiful boy.”

Everyone swarmed us, congratulating us. It was kind of overwhelming, but it was exciting too.

I meant it too. He looked healthier than ever and there was a certain light in his eyes and a pep in his step.
