The Bump

“Oh my god!” I screamed.

“Scarlett?!” Grayson called.

“Scar?!” Lee shouted.

I heard the thundering of footsteps as they burst into my room.

“What’s wrong baby?” Lee questioned.

“Is it the babies?” Grayson asked.

“Look at my bump!” I smiled. “It’s here!”

“You scared the shit out of us,” Grayson sighed.

“I almost had a heart attack,” Lee agreed.

“Sorry, now look at my bump! I’m not just bloated anymore, it's a real bump!”

Their eyes softened. “You look beautiful,” Lee whispered.

“You’re glowing babe. Can we touch it?” Grayson asked.

“Yes!” I walked over to them, lifting up my shirt slightly.

Grayson touched first. “Oh my god…our baby is in there Scarlett. It’s really growing in there.”

“I know right?” I smiled. “We made this.”

“I love you so much,” Grayson kissed me. “You’re amazing.”

“I love you too. Lee, wanna feel?”

Slowly Lee put his hand on my stomach. He gasped as tears came to his eyes. “Oh my god…”

“Isn’t it beautiful?” I asked.

“Excuse me,” Lee quickly left the room.
